Okay so I noticed that the 3 heavily laden catalogue banner scrollers on my hp are now causing it to really lag & if mine's like that so is everyone else's unless, of course, they're refusing to advertise any more peeps cos it's all got to be just too much....

Anyhoo I had a lil think about how to solve the problem....I want to advertise peeps on my hp, but I can live without the lag tyvm

A while ago I noticed a scroller that had smaller 200x banners & I thought they were cool, but we've moved on since then & now we have that teensy lil ol' space to get our banners into our bling wiff so eben dey wuz kinda too big.....get me so far?

Sooooooo while I wuz crashed out last night my lil brain helped me out wiff dis idea Twisted Evil

Dat we make lil shaped banners fer hp's to maximise on da advertisin' whilst minimisin' da lagage...cool, huh? Very Happy

I eben madeded a few templates fer dem so'z j00 c'n haffs a play around wiff da idea & come up wiff sum cool stuffiez fer ush all ta decorate our hps wiff Very Happy

I dunned dem in 150x & 80x but j00 c'n all make wot j00 wants wiff 'em or come up wiff sumpfink completely different dat's still small enuff, but not TOO small, yanno??? Smile

Hey Bou...good idea! The banners were killing my HP too so I just used a code and entered the CC's name to click on instead of a banner. (The banner codes were eating my other stuff!)

I have already made a small banner for HP's, but the code is the same, so I would have the same problem on my page as I did before. Your problem is load time, which is different than mine.

Anyways, if you want my little banner for your HP, I'd be MORE than happy to give it to you! Wink

As far as your language goes, I didn't struggle trying to figure it out! You mixed Bou talk with regular talk...so, either I'm getting used to it (lol) or the mix did me good! lol!

Oh, yeah...someone told me they tried to visit my HP, and couldn't load it up. Now I have to figure out why since I only have a few banners on it. You think stickers might be the culprit?

And FYI, people who know Bou knows she talks like this for fun. She is perfectly literate and this blows off steam for her.

This is a great idea. Support would be great, and just being nice to each other.

Wow... I don't even know Bou, and I knew she was just goofing around. That was just rude what happened up there, seriously. Yeah, her idea is similar to the button banners going around (i believe dreammint and/or sinderbug started that trend) but that doesn't mean someone can't put a new spin on a previously existing idea... let's call it, deriving off of the button concept. OMG, she did not just go there.... oh but she did Razz

Very good idea Bou... very nice templates, and I ADORE your personal language... I happen to speak trollonese myself, and anyone that doesn't understand it usually gets told to go suck up and bust, yo.
