I have been trying to make my own stickers but I am having a ton of trouble figuring it out. If anyone can explain (as simply as possible) how to create a sticker that would be very helpful.

Thanks, TabithaMoira

First, go to the following URL http://www.dwdtek.com/MakeAnAv.html and if you don't know how to do this already, go through the steps. Once you have your GIF ready, then you'll need to make a catalog icon (100 x 80 pixels EXACTLY).

To upload your new sticker, go to any sticker product page, click on Make Sticker and in the next window,

Select the category for your sticker
1. Name your sticker
2. Put in the item description for the sticker
3. Select a product rating
4. Set your price
5. Browse to the correct catalog icon from your computer for upload
6. Browse to the correct file from your catalog for the actual sticker
7. Check or uncheck for visibilty in the catalog
8. Submit.

GOOD LUCK! Very Happy

The easiest way is to open a new document with the 100 wide by 80 pixels high dimensions. Then put your catalog image inside that. In GIMP and Photoshop, you can do this by dragging the image's layer onto the thumbnail and then resizing that layer. You can also use a PASTE INTO function, if you Edit/Copy your image, then put a selection box in your thumbnail sized image.

Good Luck michaelmaxj

I recently made a sticker, and need to edit it, but IMVU is refusing to let me change anything and the sticker won't show up anywhere! What's going on? It's glitching like mad, or is it me?

#1: Sticker submission is 100 credits. Big whoop.
#2: Breakeven on a sticker is 150 credits. Big whoop.

Why do you buy it after submission? Because you don't want to have to load every frelling sticker you have ever made every time you load your homepage if you're a sticker maker only. And I dunno about you, but I've seen people with thousands of stickers to their 'credit', and uh.. yeah, the load time on that would take longer than it'd be worth.

This is how I do mine with paint shop pro x.

Start with your original sticker. I am showing the sample picture I used for the product page here.

Open a new image 100x80 it can be transparent or have a back ground its up to you.

Click on original sticker and copy it then paste it as a new layer onto the blank 100x80.

You can also resize the original image down to try and get as much of your sticker into the icon as possible but I prefer not to.

When you have it looking the way you want merge the layers together.

If you don't have a logo its a good idea to make one. I made mine over a blank, transparent 100x80 and keep it saved to use when making icons.

Do the same with your logo, copy and paste over the icon and merge. I save as a jpg for these usually to keep kb's down.

Its a great idea to make sure and have a full size image on your product page that way people can see what they are getting too Wink

I hope this helped somebody Very Happy
