got a suggestion

ok i have been noticing it and alot of my buddy think the same thing too but in Group chats if you do get a big number of friends together and start chatting.......those darn bubbles take over the screen and you cant tell what who is saying............is there a way you can make it to were you could set the bubbles to fade away after a few mins. of being up like serious haveing a line of bubbles comrin from like 5 or 6 people in one room is crazy!

Hmmm... That would be a good idea for imvu to consider. It would make large group chats less laggy and it would be less confusing. I like you idea Cool

You know, i would love if imvu had a little chat box in the corner, sorta like in gaia. It would be much better because then you can see clearly. Or we can have the option of bubbles or a box.

i like the chat box idea. for a bunch of people, but if its just like 2 or 3 then i like the bubbles XD

Yea i like the bubbles dont get me wrong but only when its like two or three people.but i run a gang called Lost angels and theirs alot of members and it gets really crazy when you get a group chat goin with say 6 people cant see, Lags bad...i really do hope they come up with a idea......

That is why each person has their own colour for chat bubbles and their names (written in their colour) are displayed at the bottom under where their avatars are. This is to reduce confusion. Yes, there are shoutouts but that is something we have to live with.

If you find the screen getting a bit clattered, Ctrl+B will remove all the chat bubbles, but then you won't be able to talk again until you press Ctrl+B again.

I'd like it better if you could manually remove some of the bubbles in case I am away from the computer for a couple minutes and then miss out on a conversation.

even with the diff. color bubbles and the names at the bottom to help line your site with who is talkin.....if you get everyone talkin at once they start to over lap and you have to constantly move the bubbles up.......... wish they would either disappear after time or move to the top after a few secs. but yet have the bubble sstill hang at the top so if you do have to goto the bathroom or let the dog out you can come back and drag the bubles down to see what was said then they would move back up after seein it...

Since some ppl want 2 remove the bubbles manually and others not, there should b an option where u can choose between those things. It's true that when there r lot ppl in a room the bubbles start 2 over lap, and if u wanna remove them it gets just more and more laggy (on my computer, anyway).

i dunno, that could have many side flaws. like if someone is brb or misses the bubble...maybe id life with right clicking the bubbles to pop them (lol) and left click to drag. but seems like a good idea. Smile

i like the idea about a option of either haveing the Bubbles or a Chat box in the Corner with a scroll so if you do miss something you can simple scroll up to see what you missed..........i dunno something just to fix or make a larger Chat more fun.......

The more I keep reading these topics the more it makes me think that IMVU does not want to please their consumers.

To lazy??? COME ON! This sounds like a really good idea and I think they should put some effort into this one. It would help on lag and bigs groups. Would make people want to talk more too.
