Storms...i would HIGHLY suggest you refrain from resubmitting until staff pipes in...
especially given what Invisigoth just pointed out....
I wouldn't do boo until an official statement AND update to ToS happens....
and since it appears Anshe won't direct a reply to me, hopefully she cooks her own goose and goes ahead with her plans irregardless of the ToS that she seems to be allowed to manipulate IMHO......my apologies Goose...that wasn't thrown at you.... _________________

3.a Developer submissions: If, as a Developer, you purposefully submit multiple copies of the same product, all copies of that product will be disabled
It doesn't say antything about having multiple copies. It's Submitting them.

26. Developers and Professional Developers agree further that their Developing privelages are a right granted to them by IMVU and can be taken away at any time for any TOS violation including non-competitive or abusive behavior toward other IMVU community members on *any* website.
By making lower priced copies, you are making any past submissions from your older more expensive versions unable to compete.
I'm not sure why IMVU is putting up with this. It's thier site, but I know that between the removal of the Mature items and this kind of stuff being allowed, a lot of people are looking at leaving. I'm at the point that I don't blame them.
Ding Ding !!!
Hello!
Maybe the translator isn't working but HELLLLO~

OK, so i go to my products page, i hit "Edit Product".
Then what? You can resubmit the product but it's the same CFL file going to the same product number. You cant put in a different CFL file than the one posted on the submissions page therefore a new product has to be made.
Or am i such a noob that i'm missing something? _________________

I'm fairly new to developing, and guess what, I'm done. It seems to me that this new approach to getting lower prices is the same thing that was already done this past weekend but done in a different way. Either way the devs get screwed. So, I for one will no longer develop. I wasn't actually in it for the credits, I was having fun learning something new. Now of course, the fun is gone.

Someone else will do the same and will lose their account.
Her account should get deleted for all the things she had done. I'm sick of seeing those threads and I'm sick of seeing others arguing about it.
She broke the TOS more than once and still has her account, her pro status, I mean.. hello?

So what about the reduction in prices being to give back to the developing community, im sure I read that was your reason lol.
Anshe the question is what IMVU allows in their TOS, not what you I or anyone else thinks is reasonable. You gave assurances you wouldnt be putting the prices back up, and now you are going to do that. If you want developers who derive from you to have any confidence to continue doing that I suggest you wait for the official decision from IMVU before you take any action to change prices again.
People who derived at the lower price and find that their prices are set below breakeven will be severely dissadvantaged and pretty annoyed and like i said, not all of them read the forums. _________________

Imagine someone makes a mesh. Sets it's price for 1000, then people derive from it.
Then that person changes the price down to 400cr illegally.
THEN wants to hide the higher price item, and RESUBMIT a NEW product with a lower price, essentially making the higher priced originals over priced.
Does this mean that the rip off original mesher can just do what they want and screw other devs. Say it's for the community and inviting your friends. Send IMVu a birthday card and THEN they get away with it?? _________________
