Winners Announced!!

Mardi Gras is a time of wonderful colors, creativity, and fun and is celebrated the world over. We’re celebrating “Fat Tuesday” on IMVU by having a meshing contest: create a wonderful Mardi Gras parade item! Unfamiliar with Mardi Gras or Carnival? Visit the Wikipedia listing for a general overview of how this event is celebrated in different countries: link. Details below:

--This contest begins February 2nd and ends February 16th.
--It is a meshing contest, so please create your own mesh demonstrating some aspect of Mardi Gras/Carnival: parade floats, costumes, a room etc. but it must be your own mesh. Derivations of another user’s mesh are not allowed.
-- All submissions must be GA
--Submission must be your own work; any entry with copyrighted art within products will be automatically disqualified.
--All submissions must be submitted to the catalog February 2nd, 2012 or later.
--Only one submission per person will be accepted
--First-place winners will demonstrate good meshes and high quality textures; try to push your creative limits! Here are some examples of Mardi Gras floats to get you started - link

Prizes

First place: 200,000 credits; promotion via IMVU marketing channels; product will be locked and gifted to all users on February 21st.

Up to 3 runners-up will be chosen and will receive 75,000 credits each. These products will not be locked or gifted by IMVU, but you may sell them in the catalog.
