Oki so now it is understood that you choose to appear offensive to others.
In any other setting i would guess that appearing like a pile of poop would succeed in offending almost every one.. but this is IMVU.
In IMVU the very fact such an outfit exists means that some one found the idea of it attractive, either to enjoy being poop, enjoy humiliating others by having them wear the poop suit, or they maybe just wished to be offensive, as you wrote. Are you guilty then of copying some one else' s 'look'?
If you are happy being a pile of poop then enjoy i guess.

I doubt it. The things I wear with the poop suit is unique. I've seen people wear poop suits, but not the way I do. And I enjoy it very much. The reactions from people when I sit next to them is priceless.

Absolutely NO!
This is also why I never enter the doc either.
I dislike copy cats. Get your own style.
I hardly ever buy from hottest products, because the chanses are big that half of IMVU already owns this product. And also because other devs and creators deservs my attention more then those who rules the pages of the hottest products and has way too much credits.... Also buying from a less known dev gets you nice thank you letters and a few times i have gotten a thank you gift for shopping in their shop.
Same goes for real life too, if I buy a nice outfit or redecorate my home, few of my friends goes and does exactly the same. THAT Ticks me of. :p

| i honestly dont know how i feel bout that but im vip been since i started n always will be for the fact u can protect urself from bein touched or made look stupid and u pay ten a month n u get a free bundle n 5k so what are u really loosing oh and u get a dicount in shop so ur really not payin for anythin :D but yea other than that there is alot of kids n people on here that cant pay for it n y make them have no privacy just cause there unfor u know :( |

A big NO. I hide my outfit because I like my unique style and I've been in cases where people have literally almost completely copied and entire outfit of mine.

Uhm... No... Just no...
If this happened, I can't say I would bother putting together outfits, anymore. It takes me awhile to put together outfits because it is rare I use any bundles, everything is its individual piece by different developers unless I'm showing off one of my own bundles. If people started copying my outfits? Yeah, I would have a fit. Especially if it would happen to be my RP characters. |

NO. Absolutely no reason.
That would put all users who are not VIP members behind with a question above their heads: "What the heck am I doing here if I can't do nothing if I am not VIP??" and it would make them feel angry with reasons.
I am VIP user and I think we have enough. We could talk about it, but on some higher level then this,
Many great developers aren't VIPs and if they hide their products, they do it with obvious reason (maybe they need to be edited, maybe they wait for other products to finish, etc. or just want to hide them!)
I can't believe that people even think about unnecessary stuff like this! No offense, but I think this is just too much.

Completely agreed. I hide my outfit for a reason, and I'm not going to waste $10/month just to be able to hide it. I'd be pissed if someone copied my entire style or look. It's the severe lack of originality on IMVU that makes us thankful we can do simple things like hiding our products from people with no personality of their own. Big fat HELL NO from me.

You would think with the largest virtual catalog in the world and the possibility for anyone to become a content creator, originality wouldn't be that difficult. Yeah, right. Not even Gaia has a problem like IMVU does with copycats.

I thought that has always been the standard way of knowing what outfits you are wearing. It was previously discussed many times here.
Users also use this method to flag misrated items in hidden outfits.

Erm, Well they have hidden their items for a reason, I used to have mine hidden but now I advertise my own outfits I keep mine shown.
Respect there privacy and jump into the shop and look for items.
