It just seems like it would be. It just really aggravates me when I see someone with an item I really want, and they won't tell me what it is. I try to 'view products in this scene' and of course, they have it hidden.
Which Is why it think that only VIP's should be able to do it. They recently made it so that only VIPs can view their recent visitors on their web page. So why not hiding outfits? Tell me what you guys think~ _________________

Second they make pretty much every single feature on this site a VIP feature only is the second I and many others will just down sticks and walk away. We hide our outfits for a reason we don't want everyone copying us if we didn't mind people copying our looks we'd leave our outfits as viewable. _________________

Uhm... How about NO.
Just because you would rather copy someone else than create your own style doesn't mean you and others like you should be the only ones allowed to hide your outfit. Seems pretty hypocritical to me, don't you think? Then again I don't thrive off the entitlement mentality that is so prevalent among many here.... _________________ DP by AstraiaStarLight

I don't like this idea at all.
Maybe people come and make a specific look for a specific reason.
IMVU should be about originality not a bunch of twins and triplets running around.
If I wanted a twin or triplet, I would leave the contents of my outfit visible.
I hope this idea doesn't happen.. You already have people complaining about :O they can copy my room, now they can copy my look.
Why not try and pick up their personality and typing style as well.
That's my 2 credits on this _________________

I have enough people copying my style. Even for DOC, and the outfits I sell in the catty, I wear different heads and skins than what I normally wear. I dont even equip outfit bundles, so that I'm not looking like someone else. My outfits panel and gallery are both private. If this is turned into a vip option, I WILL QUIT.
If there is something a person has equipped that interests you, ask. If they refuse to tell you, there is a reason. This suggestion is by far the scariest I have ever come across. How forceful. _________________

Simple .. NO. A pretty self serving suggestion, since you have VIP. Here is a thought, if someone doesn't want to give you the link to an item, how about respecting that, instead of trying to force yourself on them. Also, if they are your friends saying no, then I have to wonder you should get better friends, who aren't so selfish. If they are strangers who say no, why the hell should they give you anything?
You might have VIP, but you are also mistaken about ONLY vips being able to view their recent visitors. Non vips can still view their recent visitors, it is just that vips can view a few more. If you are going to quote something as a reason to be given something else, you might want to get your facts straight. _________________

Um my outfits are hidden for a reason. A few aren't most are. Why cause some are AP and others aren't. I don't want people prying into MY private life with that. Secondly, I've had people cloning MY copyrighted character. Yes she's my art muse. I draw her lots. So her outfits are hidden. I feel it's my right as her creator to do so.
It's bad enough I need VIP to use blocks to defend myself but if I have to do it to hide my work from other people. Screw this I'm moving to china. |

Really? Maybe we should give VIPs the right to read our messages. Why don't we even give them the right to boot us from our rooms while we're at it?
I stopped paying for VIP for several reasons and I have no intention of starting paying for it again any time soon, unless IMVU clean up their shizz. I appreciate the elitist mood that surrounds it and the need to add perks to it, since imho it is virtually worthless but the answer is NO. _________________

I disagree,
FIRST: Lets put it this way, Do you like to people always COPY you? DO you like people asking what do you have on for them get to buy it? I guess NOT.
I had problems with people because of this, The first girl that asked for something I had, I give her the product URL and then she buy it and followed me at all public room that I was, you may say: SO?, so I was not unique because of that.
SECOND: IMVU is already giving a lot to VIP's, soon VIP's are going to explode of how much stuff IMVU has given to them. Thank IMVU you guys can do a lot of stuff but we deserve to have a UNIQUE outfit and PRIVACY. You guys (VIP's) already have all the moves and/or Emotions, You can see all the visitor, You receive monthly gift, You receive 5,000 credits a month and more, Thank IMVU and don't ask for more, be GRATEFUL. |

My opinion as a returning VIP: no, thanks. I think there are enough privileges, perks or whatever we may call these VIP exclusives.
Nearly everything on this matter has been put clearly by the previous posts.
And to add my grain of salt and to put my opinion in a nutshell: VIPs have more options - they do not (and should not) have more rights. _________________

As it's Thanksgiving I'll be nice (doesn't happen often lolz) ... I think you've got the message nobody wants this ... seriously, try asking people if they wouldn't mind sharing the link to an item with you, rather than trying to sneak it with some vip perk, if they say no then respect that but there is nothing to stop you trying to get clues or guessing at a creator ... for instance I would guess your dp outfit is by Anry.
Second instance of niceness: paste your code into the siggy box found in your profile at the bottom of this page, not your accounts page.
Happy Thanksgiving

Surely you jest...Exclusivity is what it is called and is what makes our avatars unique. That is a privilege anyone on imvu should have, not just VIP's. _________________
