| My question is how do you open the lips in the head maker where it shows some teeth. I like the open mouth look. Thanks Deliverance. :] |

Hi!
Try this:
1) Uncheck 'Maintain Symmetry'
2) Check 'Limit Edge Distance', and set the value to 0
3) Change Material to 'Composite' so you can see what's going on better
4) Put the 'Selection Volume' to 50% (or any non-zero value).
5) Holding down the Shift key, click in turn on all the verts shown in red in the first picture below, so you have them all selected. They are basically the penultimate verts of the upper lip.
6) Change the 'Limit Edge Distance' value to 1.
7) If you now move the gizmo upward, it will separate the top lip from the bottom one, as in the second image below.
Hope this helps!

I have tried it a few times, it is very interesting. I can't wait to see what else you will come up with. I purchase all of your little gadgets. _________________

hey i dont really use gimp that much i jus started usin it....i'm persuin a head sign and the instructions was to ==> So what you're gonna do, is make a new document on gimp or photoshop. 512 x 256.
Fill it with the color you want the text to be, and save it as a .png or .jpeg
Make a new document the same size, and fill it with black, then write on it in white. (this is your opacity map) Save it and a .png or .jpeg too
Derive from the head sign, and set the opacity as oppacity and the text color as the texture.
But when i save the image into png it says theres some sorta error or sumthing wrong with ma laptop so i save it to jpeg and when i go to opacity and he editor the file is not there i saved he file in my pictures and when i go to it i see it there but when i go to the editor its nott......plz help!!...im very desperate...... |

| Hi! You need to derive from the product itself - not any other head. With any other head you'll get that gap. |
