I got this lame message from IMVU in my inbox today:

Who cares about the new improved pulse experience. How about FIXING KNOWN ISSUES for a change ….or is the goal to be a 3D version of facebook???

They improve pulse while the rest of the viewer crumbles, stumbles, lags, fails to load products, fails to play music, music bought from the music store does not make it to the web page to be added to mixes, change the ease of use of inventory in the client, change the ease of use of inventory on the web page, all to the dismay of a majority of users and they think we care about the pulse????

i dont use pulse due to the loads of email it sends to my yahoo account but i would love to see a way to use the new creater mode in chat i have no idea how to use it or were the instructions are located and there are so many other issues that need to be fixed i feel like my imvu would is just cumbling around me.

I completely agree with this statement, i could care less about pulse. I would like to see a change in the issues imvu already has. Such as the back up on products in your inventory loading and its damn slowness.

Or my new problem of today, Countless times have i tryed to sign onto imvu.. and it constently repeates "A problem has occurred with your IMVU Chat session. Please login to continue." What damn chat session!????? i jus got on and i already loged'in about 10TIMES

I agree with what everyone else said, though a little less hostile. Smile

Please start focusing your attention on known issues and bugs, once those are solved start implementing new features and ideas. Then go back and fix the bugs that those things will have and will cause. Instead lately all you guys seem to do is just add more and more features that just pile on top of the problems we all have already.

Please start paying attention to what WE the USERS want and stop pulling random ideas out of your bums. Smile

The same thing has been happening to me too. And it is really starting to tick me off. Someone needs to address the issues that the people of IMVU are having before they lose a lot of valued users. Mad

i cannot stand the pulse updates, i found out fast who the needy attention seekers on my friends list were, the ones that post all day long to amuse themselves .. then add in the fact that strangers can read or post on your pulses as well and i def decided it wasnt for me ..lol.. i just dont open it anymore..

Despite IMVU's constantly telling us how successful Pulse is I think you're discovering the part of IMVU we don't actually use and is taking up too much space.

We DID use *saveOutfit, we DID use the web inventory and bundle product 'put on' and 'gift' buttons on the site. What we don't use that much is IMVU's Facebook knock off. Newbies use it for a little while and then get bored with it after a week or two and no fancy new layout is going to change that.

Back in 2006 the version of IMVU had website updates that posted on our friends homepages (and our own) whenever we made a purchase, added a new friend or whatever. I remember having to uncheck those updates in my account settings to stop it from filling up space on my homepage for my alt older accounts like JTheGoblinKing. Eventually this feature seemed to disappear.

I wish I had an option to opt out of Pulse the way I could uncheck those old cluttering updates...

And I don't mean the option in account settings so people don't see my pulse. I mean opt out of it being there, period. Not on my home screen, not in the client, nada. No pulse presence at all.

Edit: I just realized the irony of having a Dracula account and wanting to opt out of having a pulse. Razz

Your pulse is not for me, I would very much like to have a opt out button on it. I don't care for Facebook and I certainly don't care for this.

You say that it is a hit but I dont see it. perhaps from all the attention whores
that use it perhaps but no one I care to associate with.
