|
|
We have had a feature where IMVU members could display collectible items earned through some old promotions on their homepages using the "Collectibles Panel". The panel could be set to being visible or not using the Account Settings menu.
We have not supported this promotion for years and the panel is not used by most of our users. In order to streamline the settings menu and focus on features that are used more frequently, we have removed this panel effective today.

I had room links stored in that panel.
Defunct panels are useful for coding please don't remove them without sufficient notice to move the codes. _________________

Agreed. Good decision, but once again, you guys have gone off and done something without giving any notice.

As per usual in one ear and straight out the other one hitting nothing in between the ears. Seriously would it kill you to actually just for a change give the users some kind of notice before messing up peoples homepages. Your claims at having improved communication are consistantly proving to us that you haven't learnt a thing and don't believe in clear communication and notice to any of us. _________________

and why on earth was this not removed ages ago? Why was the music panel, which people DID use removed BEFORE this? You even said yourself the collectables panel hasn't even DONE anything for years, but you removed music panel first? _________________ Keep your friends close... Keep your wallet, closer. |

Although users had the choice not to display this panel there was no need for this panel in the past few years. Now if y'all would take a moment and remove the Cool New People panel ~ it would be even better.
And please, don't add any shiny new apps in its place because truth is, there are more than enough issues as is within the system that are in dire need of repair that plague users and Developers on a consistent basis. |
