Name: Manathayria Desanta'Fey
Age: Unknown
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Height:5'5"
Weight: 120lb
Class: Assassin/Spellbreaker
Race: Drow
Birthplace: Unknown
Eye color: Purple
Hair color: Black
Skin: Black, with white and grey facial and body 'tattoos'. On the lower left side of her stomach one of the tattoos is broken by a scar. Across the drow's back there are several crossing scars from a whip of some sort.
Favored weapons: Dagger/short sword. Also favors the katana, Bow or blowgun.
Magic: Spell Breaker.
Deity: Mystra
Origins: Manathayria was raised the first part of her childhood in the underdark, she did learn some of the ways of the drow while there. However, before Manathayria hit adulthood her house was destroyed, her and several others made it out with their lives. Mana and her guards spent several years traveling the underdark before they parted ways.
Manathayria was captured and sold to a traveling show by the same group as destroyed her house a few short years after parting company with her guards, she does not know what happened to the others that traveled with her in the underdark. The group the drow girl was sold to kept her on display in a traveling carnival, showing off the girl's ability to break any spell brought in contact with her, enchantment, attack or other. The traveling show's mage took great pleasure in throwing various spells her way, possibly hoping one wouldn't be absorbed by the girl's odd aura. Her immunities, though a novelty with the traveling group that bought her, are the reason her house was destroyed.
After Some time with the traveling troupe Manathayria was 'rescued' by the drow twins, Nesverian and Dansethar Dulac'Des. The twins adopted the girl and tutored her in using her skills, teaching her how to extend the immunity aura out to cover her weapons, both her swords and her thrown daggers, using her natural immunities to break spells from a distance as well as from close up.
During the girl's time training with the other drow she learned to hate Dansethar with a passion, though she took to enjoying Nesverian's company, making her training a bit difficult since she could rarely tell the two apart until she was too close to escape Dansethar's beatings. Beatings he gave her when she failed to learn a spell, or catch onto a weapon skill fast enough, or had taken too high handed of an attitude to him during their training.
She is a Child of the Void, one immune to the energies that all spell casters, and yes, some of the energies psions would need to draw on. The surprise to this however is, the girl has learned a greater degree of control than most she can cast some minor illusions and enchantments, though nothing so major as to warrant her being considered a mage. When she does 'enchant' her weapons with the spellbreaker's aura it may take a greater degree of focus depending on the size of the item, and may take more concentration than most spell casters would need when doing their work. Such enchants are usually done before she ever enters combat.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
VS Casters: Manathayria will nullify spells she comes into Direct Contact with. IE: Wards set into place by one or two casters to protect an area will usually be destroyed upon contact with a spellbreaker. If the ward is recently 'set' or weak the 'Breaker will not have to concentrate on the spell they are attempting to break the spell. However, if the spell is older, or set by several casters, they will have to concentrate to destroy the ward. A ward placed by a god or goddess would be almost impossible for a single breaker to destroy. However, they would pick up on it's existence and know that it is there.
* IE: A fireball is still likely to burn the spellbreaker or their clothing as the spell creating the fireball will not likely be nullified until after it's hit the clothing. Damage from such spells would be greatly reduced.
* IE: A poison cloud created by magic would be dispelled upon impact with the spellbreaker's aura, however, everyone walking into the poison cloud, would still have been exposed to it. The spell making the poison, must first hit the breaker for it to be nullified.
* IE: Mage throws boulder at Spellbreaker. Upon impact the spell used to throw the boulder would be broken, an aura-enchanted weapon hitting the boulder would break the enchant/spell. However, the spellbreaker is still going to have a suddenly un-enchanted boulder flying at them. (An object in motion will stay in motion unless an equal and opposite.... You get the idea.)
VS Magic Items: A weak enchant IE; wards or an item that's enchanted to light a hallway, or minor enchanted artifacts. The spellbreaker will not need to concentrate to break the item, however, the stronger an artifact is, the more effort the breaker will need to put into breaking the item. Items such as something holding a strong enchant from a God or Goddess, a single spell breaker would be incapable of breaking on their own without high cost to themselves. A breaker going against a goddess or god's weapon would have a 90%+ chance of failing on their own, and potentially take damage from the attempt. (The increased fail rate would be the reason it took Manathayria's entire family to break the artifact which some suspect they were planted to destroy.)
VS Psions: It is very uncomfortable for a Psion to brush against the mind of a Spellbreaker or Child of the Void. It is, in fact, painful for them to touch anything beyond the outer reaches of the Breaker's mind. This is not saying it is impossible, but going too far into their minds, or attempting to dominate them would potentially cause extreme agony. Psionic abilities beyond those that directly affect the Spellbreaker's mind will still work without issues. (Again, suspected that this immunity was placed there to aid those of the breaker's lines to achieve their goals without being discovered.)
Kalentari
Age: Approximately 60 years old
Alignment: Lawful Good
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 145lb
class: Fighter/Thief
Race: Half Drow
Birthplace: Unknown
Eye color: Blue with faint purple on the outer edges of the eye
Hair color: White
Skin: Gray
Favored weapons: Dagger/shortsword. Crossbow.
Magic: None
Origins: Born of an uncommon union between a drow and a wood elf, Kalentari was raised by her father's people. The village Kal was raised in was struck by an epidemic while she was still a child - leaving her the sole survivor of her family at a young age. She was adopted by one of the families which lost their children during the crisis. Kalentari has no recollection of her parents but has often been told that both her mother and father were 'good people. That the wood elves spoke highly of her drow parent is something of a surprise to her. When asked she is often quick to comment that it 'shows that the drow must have been an honest person in truth, how else would a half-drow have been accepted so quickly among the elves that are fast to destroy their dark-skinned counterparts?
The drow has been trained both as a fighter and as a theif. Though her honor demands that she not take anything that does not rightly belong to her or her clan - she is quite capable of picking most locks and breaking into, and out of, most locked rooms or cages. She is capable of using some magic devices, though she still has a chance at failing at it. With her ability to use those devices she has gained a sort of sixth sense on when there's magic being cast near her - though she is unable to tap into the magic around her directly.
My current roleplaying character, in my high school group: Kageran
Name: Kokoro Megumi
Age: 17-years-old
Race: Human, Japanese
Appearance: Hair is originally black and torso-length in curls but she likes to dye it a lot, its gone from cinnamon to currently copper, big brown eyes with thick lashes, a slightly built frame from her naginata training for battle tournaments
Location: Tokyo, Japan
Occupation: Highschool student and casual maid at Cafe Petite Pandora
Abilities/Limitations: Designs clothes, wields a naginata, drifts and cosplays, she's however a klutz and habit to chuck a tantrum starting with a pout xD
History: Megumi Kokoro is the middle child of five children to her doctor father and retired business woman now housewife mother Fujitaka and Nadeshiko while having two big brothers Naobu (moved out with a family of his own) and Soichiro (third year college) and baby sister *** (14 year old, second year junior high).
She has always been quite eccentric and some what strange to the outside society especially with her many alter egos through her wild fashion statements in the diverse Lolita culture.
At school she is both a sports girl and photographer loving taking pictures of anything beautiful or fascinating in her eyes. After school hours she is either raving in the warehouses or fixing up her Skyline for Drifting at the illegal street races unknown to her parents but cheered on by Soichiro who drifts too. She has also picked up a side job at the newly opened Cafe Petite Pandora with Ayu Uzuki as a maid.
Her mood swings are extreme swinging from very happy and making sure all her peers are happy to on the ground crying and demanding an apology from the person who picked on her.
However it is amazing once she steps into the arena for the school tournaments at how serious and focus she becomes when fighting her opponent via her passion in wielding the traditional naginata. All in all, Kokoro is enjoying her second last year in Kageran Senior High and hopes to overcome any obstacle her way
~Thump~ haha J/k
Name: Nikki
Age: early 20's
Race: D' EnKar
Strengths: Energy constantly flows through her flesh causing abilities such as super human speed, and self healing at high speeds, she also comes from a long established warrior bloodline.
Weaknesses: unlisted
Physical Characteristics: She is 5'7 with long white hair, a long thin tail, bright glowing eyes, dark skin adorned with glowing engery marks, and a facial structure that is flat with wide cheekbones, all typical traits for her race and generation.
Character History:
Nikki grew up in a large coven of vampires, her parents and herself she could see were unlike any other in the coven. Her family she felt were slaves, each of her parents served the needs of the vampire's estate during the daylight hours mostly cleaning and training for battles they knew they'd have to face on the coven's behalf. Nikki was made to study coven history, diplomacy, grace, literature and combat strategy. While in her teens, Nikki's parents passed away during a small battle in the forest that outskirted the coven estate. While still in shock at her parents' deaths the coven elders came to her and reminded her of the history of her species and told her of her great duty to her kind to stay in the coven and to mate with a D' EnKar they had chosen for her from another coven. Strategizing, she hid her disgust and agreed quietly but when the morning sun rose high she feld the coven before her mate could be delivered to her chambers having no desire to be treated like livestock. Comming from a long line of warriors aided in her travels, now in her early twenties, her lack of physical combat training has begun to show. Nikki carries weapons she never uses in hopes of one day settling into a home that might help her hone the skills that run through her bloodline without treating her as a slave. Her hopes to find love, non-existant, knowing the number of D' EnKar are few and knowing the result of laying with a vampire, the only two species she has found comfort in knowing.
D' EnKar History:
((D' EnKar species and Nikki are original and copyrighted to me ~TearZ~, please message me if you intend to create a D' EnKar Rpc))
In the begining, a circle of 5 allied vampire covens were created equal in their laws and their protection of one another, though the covens had no family or blood ties one with the other. Each coven was assigned a group of warrior vampires, and one specialized wizard vampire. Each wizard had mastered one element of study, Water, Air, Fire, Earth, and Potions. This kept each coven of the circle equal in power. Their main focus, hiding their existance from the world, their problem... many other species knew of them and wished to expose their secrets to the human race, which they knew would bring devistation to them. The Potions Master began experimenting, trying to create a potion that would allow vampires to walk in the light of day, to fight battles and dispell beliefs of vampire existance. Each coven sent one warrior to be treated each time a potion was completed and after many failed attempts a potion was finally successful. This potion however completely changed the vampire warriors, not only in apperance but also in ablities. What the Potion Master had created, did not have a magical affect, but instead changed the very dna of those who drank it, making the change a completely perminant one, he had created a new species. The warriors were named the D' EnKar. They had darker skin and their eyes began to glow. They still found no need to eat or drink the way humans had, but they also lost their taste for blood, instead they began to feed off of energy, causing their victims to go weak, and sometimes faint but not die. Because they were able to feed off the energy in magick and were not harmed by it the wizards of the coven fed the D' EnKar by attacking them with their magick. But most importantly they were able to go out in the daylight, no matter how bright, they could even feed off the sun's energy in a pinch. However the first night, many of the D' EnKar learned the hard way that they were unable to survive in total darkness their flesh froze and shattered. Soon over half of each of the coven's warriors were among the D' EnKar, male and female. Through this time the covens had not known the D' EnKar ran to the depths of their very dna, so when the first of the D' EnKar began to have children, they found only those who had mated with another D' EnKar had surviving children, those who had mated with vampires found their children still-born. The second generation D' EnKar had grown long thin tails, had even darker black skin, and very bright eyes, their abilities to self heal ran at incredible speeds coupled with their ability to walk in the daylight made them top choice for the warriors of the coven. They were given little choice in the matter as they had all come from long established warrior bloodlines. Fearing the D' EnKar would go extinct due to the mating issues the covens elders instituted a breeding program among them and their race survived serveral generations, however bickering and fighting amoung the allied circle eventually drove each coven in its own direction. Over the years this caused the D' EnKar to dwindle in numbers. _________________ Banner: Inject
Name: Ariana Leigh Thorn (Holmes)
DOB: January, 24 1991.
Species: Kistune(Fox) Demon (By Birth), Vampire (Turned).
Abilities: Mild Telepathy, Shadow Manipulation, Form Transformation.
Status: Owned Switch
Mate: Vincent Holmes (NPC Currently)
Family: 4 "Sisters"
(Name Unknown) - Fae (Fairy)/Human
(Name Unknown) - Neko
(Name Unknown) - Water Nymph
(Name Unknown) - Rabbit Demon
Brief History: The daughter of a Kitsune Demon and a Human, she grew up a half breed and looked down upon for her blood by those who knew. After her parents died in a car accident she was raised by her uncle. She wasn't unloved, but the man was somewhat cold and formal, so her child hood was somewhat lacking in affection. Her Uncle was a business man, training her to take over in his stead once she was old enough to complete school. But her plans, their plans, were destroyed when, at the aged of 17, a raiding party, Hunters from the Side Realm, broke into their home, ripping her from her room and setting the Mansion on fire.
She was transported through the city, tied up in the back of a car with blacked out windows, and taken through the Veil to the outer edge of the Side Realms forest. She was sold to a man, a servant to a Lord, with four other girls, ranging from Fae to Neko. The other four, scared and nervous, grew close on the travel from the edge of the Forest to the Central City of Midnight, but Ari stayed quiet and distant, waiting.
When the reached the Castle of the Lord who had purchased them they were unloaded and marched through the kitchens where a number of other slave girls washed and dressed them in black cotton Camisks. They were then taken to their own rooms, two to a room. Ari was put in a room with an older girl, Camille, a favorite of the Lord. The girls first words, upon appraising the Ari, were "you're destined for the kitchens," said with a sneer.
A week later Ari was called to tend to the Lords chambers.
She entered his room silently, her eyes narrowed angrily as she quietly shut the heavy door behind her. She had heard rumors, a number of them, of the Lords voracious appetite for Blood and Women, refusing to be denied either. Her hand settled on the knife she had managed to take from the Kitchens at dinner as she made her way to the bed. She called out softly, but got no response save for the soft breathing of the man in the bed. Her anger got the better of her and she gripped the knife, slipping closer. Her eyes locked on the bare expanse of flesh above his heart and she raised her arm to strike, but before she could blink she was on the bed, a hard body covering her own, gripping her arms above her head.
Looking up in fear she saw, for the first time, the face of the Lord who owned her, his expression amused despite the obvious attempt she had been making on his life. He simply chuckled and asked her name then, pressing his lips to her neck, told her to return to her room. She had fled, red faced and warm, to the safety of her bed. The next night she was called to tend his chambers again, and the night after, and the next until she was the only person permitted to enter the Lord's room and no longer wished to flee. During this time she also grew closer to the four girls she was purchased with, becoming like sisters to them.
Over the months the Lord spoke to her more and more, gleaning every fact of her life from her and offering her a few facts of his own. She learned his name was Vincent, the Leader of the Carion Coven and last surviving member of the Holmes Family. Naturally, as any young girl of 17 does, her feeling for him grew. She let herself imagine that his feelings for her were the same, until the night Camille was called and she was sent out to the stables to tend the horses instead.
Hurt and confused she worked slowly, still in the stables when night fell, a dangerous time to be out in the Side Realm. She was finishing the last stall when the door opened and she looked up, expecting to see the Stable Master coming to reprimand her for her slow work. Instead she saw Vincent's cousin, Nicholas, the lord of a neighboring castle. She dropped to her knees as was respectful and looked up to ask him if there was anything he needed, but his eyes, normally a dark blue, were pure black and she fainted.
When she woke up she was in a room that was not her own, the doors and windows barred. Nicholas has kidnapped her. Night after night he came to her room, attempting to find out what secrets Vincent had told her, resorting to violence when her answers were unsatisfactory. After two weeks of this she had given up hope that she would be saved, her new goal was to anger the Vampire enough that he would kill her. She spent the day destroying the room, breaking every item she knew would get a rise out of him. When she heard the locks being undone she raised the leg of a chair and readied herself. But the face that appeared in the doorway was not Nicholas, it was Vincent.
Elation washed over her and she forgot her hurt at his rejection, she dropped the chair leg and threw herself at him, crying into his shirt as he hugged her tight and wrapped his coat around her. They returned to the castle and her took her to his room, calling the Medic to check over her and give her a sleeping draught. When she woke up 3 nights later he was sitting next to her, sleeping in an arm chair. Unable to help herself she reached out and brushed her fingers on his arm, waking him instantly. She opened her mouth to apologize to him, but his lips covered hers before she could form the words. He murmured “I love you” against her lips and she froze, looking up at him startled. “I love you” he told her again “And I don't want to lose you . . . but if you wish to go home I will take you back to your Uncle myself.” When she didn't respond he stood and nodded. “I'll make arrangements.” and turned to leave. As he reached the door she sat up, gasping his name fearfully. He turned and was shocked to see her crying.
“I love you.” She whimpered, shaking her head as her body trembled. His pained frown turned into a grin and he crossed the room quickly, gathering in his arms and kissing her again. He turned her that night. And, a week later, he named her as his Mate, renouncing his leadership of the corrupt coven. He released her "sisters" as well, allowing them to seek their own futures. _________________ [IMG]http://i51.tinypic.com/s4p9go.jpg[/IMG] |
Poisoned Daelus
This Poisoned Combat Knife has 1 single ability to it; when stabbing a creature, the Blade immediately turns a Glowing Red, represented its extreme heat, make it easier to twist and/or slice. If you know the right words to do so, the Dagger, while inside the creature, will expel flames into the creature, cooking it from the inside. The poison upon this dagger is quite lethal and is known to cause a bit of Trouble. The poison I speak of is "Rathrae Dos" poison. This poison attacks the central nervous system, rendering its victim completely incapable of movement, though fully capable of feeling pain. Why it should be so prized by the drow should be obvious.
M4 Rifle
The M4 Rifle used to be an Average Rifle until consumed by the Shadows. It was then turned into a Lethal Weapon. The Scope had the Ability to see in the dark. The Bullets were Drenched in Banelar Poison. No matter what happened or what creature, if this bullet penetrated even a BIT... the creature would immediately fall within 10 seconds. This being because Banelar was a Poison the made the Victim fall Unconscious Immediately. Another thing about the Bullet was that it also was consumed by the shadows an dhad the ability to leave a trail of smoke behind it, and yes.. the Smoke had poison in it as well. Bloodflower Poison, a sleeping Poison... The flower exudes a fast-acting narcotic perfume that is effective within a 5’ radius. Victims must avoid, hold breath, suck the fumes out, or fall asleep immediately. This sleep lasts up to 1 hour and the victim cannot be awakened without the use of a neutralize poison spell or similar magic.
MC Eagle
The MC Eagle is basically the same as the M4 Rifle, only, the Bullet held a more Lethal Poison, Curare. Curare is derived from the Strychnos Toxifera plant, found in tropical regions. Though the entire plant is fatal, curare is made from the plant’s sap. Crude or raw curare is a resinous, aromatic, dark sticky mess from a clinging vine. Curare is harmless when swallowed. It is administered through injection, or through use as a blade venom (the name “Flying Death” results from its frequency as an arrow venom). Effects: paralysis of muscles, starting with the eyelid and face, followed by the inability to lift the head. Within seconds of injection the poison affects the diaphragm, the victim’s pulse drops drastically. Paralysis of the lungs occurs next. Death results from respiratory failure. During the death throes the victim turns blue.
Wrist Saber
The Wrist Saber.... Those of you who watch Star Wars, you would think to know what this is... Well, you don't. The Wrist Saber is turn on by a button that is pressed by the wrist if the hand is flicked backwards. The Beam is activated, but only for a certain amount of time. Like many electric items, it must be charged for a certain amount of time to be active.
Storyline
Michael Lawcrest, born to Julia Wade and Alec Lawcrest. Lawcrest grew up in the lands of Organization S.i.N, learning, training to become a Mercenary for the Organization. The Organization had been the most Dominant Empire in the Lands and had taken over almost all of Belevane, the Current leader of the Organization, Maxen, descendant of Jason Carver, had been planning to take his Army through other realms and take over them all, 1 by 1.. and Lawcrest wanted to be apart of it. So, the Armies dispersed and over the years, it was a failure. The reason being because their Technology was known and Beings had already learned to counter attack it.. Maxen then called upon Lawcrest, now known as AS-100. His mission was to go back in time and set order the way he wanted it.. and by this point, Lawcrest had his own change of heart, but he would take the journey, only to meet those he had worshiped for quite some time; the Owners of Organization S.i.N. Lawcrest Geared up and found the Forbidden Capsule, the only Capsule that could send one back and forth through time.. The only one to ever use it were the Ancients of the Organization.. AS-100 landed right in the middle of a fight...
History:
The Angus was first introduced into the North American market in 2004. In 2006 it was added to parts of the European markets and the Korean market in 2007.
The sandwich was first made with fire-grilled 1/3 pound (150 gram) patty, whole leaf iceberg lettuce, tomato, sautéed onion and steak sauce on a corn-dusted bun. The sandwich was reformulated to include mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, raw, sliced onion and steak sauce on a corn-dusted bun in 2006, most likely for either a cost cutting measure or product simplification. Beginning in January 2008, Burger King began to phase out the Angus burger in the US with the intention of replacing the sandwich with a newer Angus based product in the second quarter of 2008. In the interim, BK began substituting it with the bacon and cheese Whopper.
With the introduction of the company's new broilers in the US and Canada, the product has again been replaced by the third generation sandwich called the Steakhouse XT burger, with the XT standing for eXtra Thick. The new sandwich comes in two permanent varieties, both featuring a new round, .5 in (1.3 cm) thick patty. The patty is no longer made with Angus beef where the Steakhouse XT is sold.
Equipment:
Cardboard Container. We must consuider the enviroment afterall.
Appearance:
The North American base sandwich, the Steakhouse XT, is made with mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, raw onion and ketchup served on a corn-dusted potato flour roll. The European and Asian versions of the Angus Burger are made with mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, steak sauce and raw onion, however local builds may vary in regards to size and weight of the patty and bun type. The Australian version is served with bacon, processed cheese and barbecue sauce, again on the corn-dusted roll.
Traits:
The meaty Angus beef patty definitely has a stronger and better flavour than the usual Maccas burgers. Even though the patty is tender and flavoursome on each bite, you'll find it a little dry and crumbles easily. Especially since there is very little of mustard and mayo in presence inside the burger. The braided sourdough bun is soft and dusted with flour, but a little too big in comparison to the filling inside. Not mention the onions which are a bit overpowering. And the gourmet salad which also looks a bit tiring. The Mighty Angus burger is definitely the one for the boys. Without any greens in sight, the angus beef patty is topped with cured bacon, the yellow processed cheeses on both ends, red onions and a nice spread of zesty onion relish. The Mighty Angus definitely has a great distinctive smokey flavour from the cured bacon and the burger is not as dry as the Grand Angus with the aid from the onion relish.
Powers:
None. Not even going to try and be funny here. It's a hamburger.
Flaws
Most people have this common perception that if they have the options to choose a “deli” or “gourmet” version of the fast food, then it means the food are made with fresh ingredients, which also makes you think it is a healthier option and is good for you. Wrong. The Angus beef burgers are not new, it was released in US in June and it’s called Angus Third Pounders. Third pounder means the burgers have one third of a pound of juicy angus beef inside, which gives you 151.19 gram of patty, where as the Quarter Pounder has only 113.39 gram of patty inside.
Having a peek of the daily intake nutritious chart on the back of the packaging, the Grand Angus contains 65% saturated fat, and Mighty Angus is on the lead at 70% of the average daily intake. They taste good, but definitely have a price to pay. Overall, the angus beef patty is definitely the key ingredient and make a difference to the taste of the burgers. However, if you want to have the full angus beef burger orgasmic satisfaction and ready to put on weight, the Maccas Angus range definitely doesn’t live up to many expectations. The burgers are priced at $6.45 and $6.75 respectively; but with a little over $3 more, you can have a sensational Wagyu Burger at Plan B, it is a no brainer. |
I am starting to lose track of my own aliases here...
Appearance: Ageless male
Age: Oh, wouldn't you like to know...
Appearance: Ageless vampire.
Powers: I have the power of Transvection (ability to fly). I can turn into mist-like particles and reform. I have nocturnal vision and heightened animal-like senses. I have inhuman strength and speed as well as agility. I have the power of transmogrification, that is to say I have the ability to transform into a bat or a wolf at will. I have the ability to communicate with wolves and bats. I have the ability to enthrall mortals and read minds. I have the skills of telepathy as well as slightly limited telekinesis and Pyrokinesis. I have the ability to manipulate the weather. I have knowledge of magick and alchemy. I heal from most wounds extremely quickly. I am immortal / ageless. I am able to speak English, Romanian, Romani language (Vlax Romani), Turkish, Hebrew, German, Russian and Latin.
Limitations: Sacred objects (from any religion) will repulse or burn me. I cannot shape shift during the daylight hours. I am weaker by daylight. A stake through the heart will immobilize me. Garlic will repulse me. Wolfsbane will repulse me. I do not like to enter homes without an invitation (It weakens me). I have to sleep about six hours out of each day in order to rest or I will be weakened (The coffin is best so that I will not be bothered by the light and muffle noise as I sleep). Bright light will bother me but not destroy me. I am extremely light sensitive. I cannot actually teleport. I just move faster than human eyes can see and I can decorporealize (take the form of mist). I crave blood and will grow weak without regular feeding and can be driven to madness or fall into a hibernative sleep if I am denied blood for a long stretch of time.
Note on limitations: I do cast a reflection (I always thought that was a bit silly that some think I would not) and I do have a heartbeat. In the Dracula novel I make other vampires by feeding them my own blood. There is no way I could do this without blood circulating through my body. Also without a heartbeat a stake through the heart would only serve to hold me down so yes, I do have a heartbeat, it's just much slower than that of a human's. There would be no purpose in having to drive the stake through the heart unless it was to stop the blood from circulating. I can cross running water. (I made it to England on The Demeter after all). I do not need soil from my homeland in order to rest. This is a myth Van Helsing believed (and it always just seemed silly to me). Also please note it is an invention of Hollywood that only one bite is needed to make a vampire (or three bites). I make vampires by drinking a person's blood and then feeding them my own blood. If I have not fed you my own blood you will not become a vampire by my hand. And no, I am not Judas. Do you really want to believe a being of pure love and light would not only condemn someone to eternity as a monster but also sic that monster on the world and the innocent? I hope not! For starters the idea that Judas has been condemned to eternity as a life draining monster sort of implies something negative about the 'all loving' being, that he would unleash a sadistic killer upon the world out of spite. I certainly do not believe this and I would hope that you do not either.
Race: Vampire
Backstory: Carpathian noble turned monster. Mortal Birth 1431. Mortal Death 1476 at the age of forty five and also date of vampiric birth. During the seige of Poenari Castle in 1462 my first wilfe Elizabetha threw herself into the the river now known as Râul Doamnei (The Princess's River). I was thirty one at the time of her death. In life I was a brutal and fierce leader of my people. As a vampire my power, brutality and authority not only remained but also amplified. As a vampire I studied the occult at Scholomance and mastered certain abilities beyond those of conventional vampires such as manipulating the weather among other things.
The Back story as told by Bram Stoker:
Jonathan Harker, an English solicitor (lawyer), journeys by train and carriage from England to Count Dracula's remote castle (situated in the Carpathian Mountains on the border of Transylvania, Bukovina and Moldavia). The purpose of his mission is to provide legal support to Dracula for a real estate transaction overseen by Jonathan Harker's employer, Peter Hawkins, of Exeter in England. At first enticed by Dracula's gracious manner, Jonathan Harker soon discovers that he has become a prisoner in the castle. He also begins to see disquieting facets of Dracula's nocturnal life. One night while searching for a way out of the castle, and against Dracula telling him not to venture outside his room, at night, Jonathan Harker falls under the spell of three female vampires. He is saved at the last second by the Count. Soon Harker comes to Realize that Dracula plans to fake Harker's death. Dracula often climbs out the window at night (moving down the wall like a lizard). And one night he does this in Jonathan's clothes after sending letters that make it appear that Jonathan is on his way home. This is to make it seem that something befell Harker on his way from the castle and not at the castle.
Knowing that his life is in danger, Jonathan Harker barely escapes from the castle with his life. Not long afterward, a Russian ship, the Demeter, having weighed anchor at Varna, runs aground on the shores of Whitby, England, during a fierce tempest. All of the crew are missing and presumed dead, and only one body is found, that of the captain tied to the ship's helm. The captain's log is recovered and tells of strange events that had taken place during the ship's journey. These events led to the gradual disappearance of the entire crew apparently thanks to a strange, dark presence on board the ill-fated ship. A wolf-like animal is seen on the ship leaping ashore. The ship's cargo is described as silver sand and boxes of "mould", or earth, from Transylvania.
Soon Dracula begins to stalk Jonathan Harker's fiancée, Wilhemina 'Mina' Murray, and her friend, Lucy Westenra. Dracula believes that Mina is the reincarnation of his own long dead first wife, whom he never stopped loving.
Lucy receives three marriage proposals in one day. One from Dr. John 'Jack' Seward (the head of a lunatic asylum), one from Quincey Morris (a wealthy American cow boy), and one from Arthur Holmwood (Lord Godalming) Lucy accepts Holmwood's proposal while turning down Seward and Morris, but all the men and Lucy remain good friends.
There is an apparent connection between Count Dracula and one of Seward's patients, Renfield, an insane man who tries to consume insects, spiders, birds, and other creatures in ascending order of size and place on the food chain in order to absorb their 'life force.' Renfield, who seems telepathically linked to Dracula, is able to tell Dracula's proximity and supply clues accordingly. He views Dracula to be his master and himself to be the vampire's slave.
Lucy begins to waste away suspiciously after bouts of sleep walking. All her friends and fiance begin to worry, and Dr. Seward calls in his old teacher, Professor Abraham Van Helsing from Amsterdam. Van Helsing immediately determines the cause of Lucy's condition but refuses to disclose it, knowing that Seward's faith in him will be shaken if he starts to speak of vampires. Van Helsing tries multiple blood transfusions, but they are clearly losing ground. On a night when Van Helsing must return to Amsterdam (and his message to Seward asking him to watch the Westenra household is 'accidentally' sent to the wrong address), Lucy and her mother are attacked by a wolf. Lucy's mother, who has a heart condition, dies of fright, and Lucy apparently dies soon after.
Lucy is buried, but soon afterward the newspapers report children being stalked in the night by a 'bloofer lady' (Beautiful Lady). Van Helsing, knowing that this means Lucy has become a vampire, confides in Seward, Lord Godalming and Morris what he knows to be the truth. The three men and Van Helsing track her down, and after a disturbing confrontation between Lucy the vampire and Arthur, they stake her heart, behead her, and fill her mouth with garlic.
Around the same time, Jonathan Harker arrives home from recuperation in Budapest (where Mina joined and married him after his escape from the castle); he and Mina also join the would-be vampire hunters, who turn their attentions to dealing with Dracula.
Van Helsing soon figures out that Count Dracula is none other than the historical Dracula (in life known as Vladislaus Dracula and in death known as Vlad 'the impaler' Tepes). After Dracula learns of Van Helsing and Van Helsing's new allies plot against him, he hurries after Mina to make of her his vampiric bride. Dracula bites Mina, leaving her with his mark. He feeds from Mina at least three times. Dracula also, in turn, feeds Mina his blood, thus creating a spiritual bond between them and begins her slow transformation into a vampire, herself. The only way to forestall this is to kill Dracula before Mina's transformation can be completed. Mina slowly succumbs to the blood of the vampire that flows through her veins, switching back and forth from a state of consciousness to a state of semi-trance during which she is telepathically connected with Dracula. It is this connection that they start to use to deduce Dracula's movements via hypnosis for as Dracula can see into her mind they felt they could use her to see into his mind. It is only possible to detect Dracula's surroundings when Mina is put under hypnosis by Van Helsing. This ability gradually gets weaker during the group's long chase back to Dracula's castle in the Carpathian Mountains.
Dracula flees back to his castle in Transylvania, followed by Van Helsing's team of vampire hunters. The band of heroes kill the three female vampires that reside in Dracula's castle and then manage to track Dracula down just before sundown and 'destroy' him by cutting through his throat with a Kukri knife and then stabbing him in the heart with a Bowie knife. Dracula appears to crumble to dust, his spell is lifted and Mina is freed from the marks. Quincey Morris is killed in the final battle, stabbed by Gypsieswho had been protecting Dracula and returning Dracula to his castle. The survivors return to England.
The book closes with a note about Mina's and Jonathan's married life and the birth of their first-born son, whom they name after all four members of the party, but refer to only as Quincey in remembrance of their American friend. Quincey Harker is seven at the time of completion of the Dracula story.
Contemporary RP: Under the name Alexander Lucard (A. Lucard being Dracula spelt backward) Dracula runs a major corporation (much like Xanatos in Gargoyles) in a bid for subtle control over the financial world.
This is a role playing Game account based on a character from The Dresden Files novels by Jim Butcher.
Name: Thomas Raith
Age: mid-to-late forties though looks ageless (you can't quite tell how old he is. He seems young).
Race: White Court Vampire (Incubus)
Location: Chicago
Occupation: Hair dresser
backstory:
Thomas Raith is the son of a witch and Lord Raith, ruler of the White Court vampires (Incubi and succubi). Lord Raith was a cruel tyrant who didn't care about the lives of his own children. The witch, Thomas' mother, had escaped from Lord Raith's power when he was flive years old (leaving Thomas behind) and roughly a year later she fell in love with a mortal and bore a child with him. The child would grow up to be the wizard Harry Dresden. Shortly after Harry was born his mother was murdered by Lord Raith.
Thomas grew up believing he was human however the symbiotic demon (his Hunger) woke up and on the night of his first intimacy he fed on and killed the person he was with. The first feeding is always fatal to the victim. Thus Thomas The Incubus was born, gifted with ageless beauty, enhanced senses and charm he fast discovered that his father had a nasty habit of killing all of his male off spring (and some of his daughters) and any who he felt might be a threat to his power.
Thomas narrowly avoided all of his father's indirect murder attempts while pretending to be an air headed playboy.
Thomas eventually fell in love with a mortal woman named Justine (whose hair is now silver from an incident where she almost died to save Thomas). Unfortunately it was too late to save Thomas from life as an incubus because if his first intimate relationship had been with someone who loved him and he loved them that would have saved him from becoming an incubus and he could have lived his life as a human man.
Years later Thomas learned the secret of his wizard half brother and now Thomas discretely watches after Harry Dresden trying to avoid letting anyone know that he is Harry's half-brother for fear of how the Wizard Council would react to such knowledge since wizards and vampires are supposed to be at war.
Thomas is extremely charismatic and has preternatural strength and speed. He can easily enthrall mortals with his natural and unnatural charms. He has a very large ego and some repressed (not-well-trained) magical abilities because his mother was a powerful witch, and now his younger half brother a powerful wizard. Thomas can also 'Soul gaze' which is a sort of telepathy from looking into someone's eyes. Harry Dresden also has this power though he dislikes to use it. When Soul gazing it can open your mind to the one you're trying to soul gaze.
Thomas and Harry Dresden wear identical silver pentacle pendants from their mother.
Thomas' weakness is true love. He cannot feed from anyone who has found their true love and is loved in return. If he tries to it will physically hurt him and or burn him (even leave blisters if he tries to touch them in an act of feeding).
Decapitation would likely kill him.
To avoid killing (Thomas feeds on life energy) he discretely feeds on his customers as a hair dresser. Apparently some people feel an intimacy when their hair is being washed that allows him to take little tastes of life energy without them noticing. |
Character name: Harry Dresden ((Original Source: Jim Butcher's The Dresden Files novels and short lived TV series of the same name)).
Age: Thirty five.
Gender: Male
Species: Human wizard
Abilities: Generic magical abilities. Tracking spells, magical blasts via a blasting rod (wand) and a staff. Various tricks of the trade. Potions, charms, small spells. ((Nothing too god mody)). Pyromancy (Fire magick) and other smaller spells.
Limitations: He can be weakened. Though he heals fast and doesn't quite age as non-magical people do, he's relatively mortal and can be killed by mortal means. Also technology tends to short out around him so he can't use advanced tech.
Personality: Somewhat sardonic but chivalrous. Harry Dresden represents the typical hero mentality. Sometimes he'll foolishly leap into danger because he believes it is the right thing to do.
Appearance: Dresden is somewhat shabby. As a blue collar wizard he often forgets to shave. He wears a leather duster jacket and jeans. Around his left wrist he wears a bracelet of seven identical copper discs with a protection ward carved into each disc. Around his neck hangs a silver pentacle amulet, which was a gift from his late mother. He is unusually tall and stands at slightly over six and a half feet tall. He's thin and a little tattered looking with dark hair and dark eyes. Those who can detect magick would sense his magical inclination.
History: Harry Dresden is the son of a powerful witch and a stage magician whom named him after Harry Houdini. Harry Dresden works as a private investigator in Chicago Illinois, specializing in cases that the mundane authorities either can't or won't handle or cannot understand at all.
Dresden is mistrusted by his own kind for having murdered his adoptive mentor with black magick as a means of self-defense against the man, Justin, who had wanted to use him and his powers for evil. It is widely believed that those that use black magick always return to it sooner or later. It's an addiction that cannot be escaped.
Family: Dresden's mother died shortly after he was born. His father died when he was still a boy. His only living family is an older half brother whom happens to be an incubus living as a hair dresser, Thomas Raith.
Name: Anaytaniionmorreiasalomithalthar
Race: Eldar
Class: Farseer
Home: Craftworld Anayadan
Age: 4729
Height: six foot one inch
Weight: one hundred fifty three pounds
Eye Color: Green
Hair Color: Raven
Weapons:
Witchblades are Eldar force weapons wielded by Farseers and Warlocks.Force weapons are advanced, psychically-attuned close combat weapons that are only fully effective in the hands of a psyker. Force weapons effectively act as deadly, psychic extensions of the wielder's own powers. They are designed to allow a psyker to channel deadly warp energies into their victim, acting as a conduit between the wielder's mind and the flesh of his target. Large alien monstrosities and daemons that are resilient to conventional weapons can be slain outright by a single wound, as their bodies and minds are destroyed by the unearthly powers of the Immaterium. Force weapons take the form of swords, spears or other close combat weapons. Within the structure of the weapon is interwoven a powerful psi-convector, formed into a precise serpentine shape which concentrates and directs psychic energy. This sometimes appears as a pattern on the blade. If a non-psyker takes up such a weapon it functions as a standard weapon. Tanthar's Witchblade is thirty eight inches from tip to base, appearing much like a broadsword. It is composed of wraithbone, a lightweight yet durable material that only the Eldar know how to create.
In addition to the Witchblade, the Farseer is armed with a shuriken pistol. Shuriken Weaponry is unique to the Eldar; its technology is extremely advanced and very difficult to replicate. Shuriken weapons fire a flesh-tearing hail of razor-sharp discs by means of a gravitic accelerator similar to the gravitic motors which power Imperial Land Speeders. The accelerator creates a peristaltic shift from the front to the rear of the firing chamber, hurling the shuriken missiles forward at a tremendous velocity. A burst of several missiles can be fired in a fraction of a second in this way. The shuriken missiles themselves are razor-sharp monomolecular-edged discs of plasti-crystal, and are usually star-shaped, triangular or circular. A shuriken disc can slice straight through flesh and bone, and can penetrate a considerable thickness of metal or plasteel armour. A single solid core of plasti-crystal material is used as ammunition. As the weapon is fired, high-energy impulses from the back of the weapon form the individual shuriken missiles by splitting the ammunition core. This weapon-principle produces a very high rate of fire, allowing the weapon to fire up to a hundred rounds in one or two seconds and each core is good for around 10 of these bursts. The downside is the lack of rifling in the barrel reducing the accuracy drastically, thereby reducing its minimum range to one well under that of its solid slug counterparts. The Shuriken Pistol is the smaller version of the Shuriken Catapult and is fired one-handed.
Armor:
Rune Armor- All Farseers wear a wraithbone breastplate shaped into runic forms that ward off enemy attacks. The breastplate is lightweight enough to hinder movement none, yet durable enough to allow for it to aid in defending the Farseer. In addition, while the breastplate only covers the torso, it emits a small field of energy that wraps around the Farseer, effectively shielding his entire body against some attacks, though not all are turned away.
Ghosthelm- A Farseer's ghosthelm incorporates intricate crystalline psychic circuitry that masks their spirits in the warp. The helm aids in defending against detection via thought reading, as well as protects against such actions.
Runes of Warding- A Farseer can use runes of warding to throw up psychic interference to hinder his foe, making mental and magical attacks less effective, the runes own power blocking many weaker magical or mental attacks outright.
Runes of Witnessing- A Farseer uses runes of witnessing to guide his second sight along the twisting strands of fate. The runes allow for less strain when using his psyker abilities, allowing him to concentrate much easier on preparing and using his powers.
Spirit Stones- A Farseer can use the power of a spirit stone to charge themselves with psychic energy. The stones further reduce the strain for his abilities, allowing him to concentrate much easier on preparing and using his powers.
Powers:
Doom- The Farseer searches for the thread of destiny that spells the destruction of an enemy and draws it into being. This power makes wounds and injuries suffered during its duration harder to heal. It lasts for three rounds, and takes three rounds to recover.
Eldritch Storm- The Farseer summons a corona of crackling energy that strikes out with arcs of lightning and hurls enemies in all directions. The lightning is psychically infused and summoned, aiding in the difficulty in which it is to manipulate. This takes one turn of preparation, and takes three rounds to recover.
Fortune- The Farseer scries the strands of the future to foresee where the enemy will attack, warning his fellow Eldar so that they may avoid enemy fire. This ability allows the Farseer to dodge more effectively, as well as sense hidden foes with better ease. It lasts for three rounds, and takes three rounds to recover.
Guide- The Farseer's prophetic powers warn him of the enemy's foul intent, allowing him to direct the fire of his warriors. This power allows him to faintly sense harmful thoughts around him, giving him a better sense of danger. It lasts for three rounds, and takes three rounds to recover.
Mind War- The Farseer reaches out to destroy the mind of an enemy with a mental onslaught. The minds of the two creatures are pitted against each other in battle, the winner damaging the mind of the loser. This takes zero turn of preparation, and takes three rounds to recover. |
She can be seductive, some have called her a temptress, but she keeps that side of her at bay. Dance is her way of expression; she hums sometimes out of habit, or sings softly at random moments. Story [Condensed History]: Often mistaken for the goddess Artemis, Helena was born from the Primordial goddesses Gaia [Goddess of the Earth/Mother Earth; Grandmother to Zeus, Hades, Poseidon, etc.] and the goddess Nyx [Goddess of the night/the seas]. It was written that they wanted a new being to be formed, and created Helena from the love they had for each other and new creation. Kronos [God of time/ the zodiacs; son of Gaia] felt she was an unnatural creation and was jealous of her, and with the help of the 12 titans, cast Helena from the heavens and set her into a water cocoon.
Hundreds of years later she was found in the Mediterranean sea by young, nubile maidens who she learned were Nymphs. She hadn’t aged in the water and was at the young age of 4. They trained her in the ways of the Earth, teaching her about herbs and a vast amount of ways to heal. Dancing became her love, her voice, her form of expression. She would dance for travelers, and for the Nymphs, which is when she discovered her love for women.
Through them she met the Goddess Artemis, who learned who she was and took her to Mount Olympus. She was at the age of 19 when the nymphs set her on her way with Artemis. On the way to Olympus, she learned the ways of the night, and how to derive power from the moon. Her time in Olympus was only a few months {story upon request} and she left the Mount, never aging from 19.
She reunited with the Elemental Fairies (Nymphs), deriving things from them such as wings, before going on her own way. She has lived 6 lives{available upon request}, and while she remembers them, she does not dwell on them, she moves forward and uses her knowledge to help those in need. In some worlds she was called seductress, temptress. In one she even allowed herself to be enslaved. In some lives she aged, in others, she didn’t. Helena is a powerful, gentle woman. Though she is independent, she longs for love. |
