So IMVU is removing public room voice chat in the new upcoming IMVU release.
Who all sees this as a stupid idea?
[Warning, link contains ignorant decision, aspirin on hand may be advised]
The excuse is because people complain about it interrupting their music listening experience. That's beyond ridiculous.
WHY DO WE HAVE MUTE BUTTONS THEN!?
WHY DO YOU GIVE US THE OPTION TO DISABLE IT OURSELVES!?
WHY GIVE ROOMS OWNER THE FREEDOM TO DISABLE IT IN THEIR ROOMS!?

HONESTLY, who works for IMVU a bunch of monkeys flinging poo?
By all means if the USER is too damned lazy to turn the mute button on which hell only takes what one click, then that's there god damned problem. Not EVERYONE'S. Honestly, i'm getting so close to driving down an hour to there location to slap some of the people who work there silly. -.-'

I sent it multiple applications and resumes to work for IMVU, now I wonder if I should even bother

Yeah, i always thought i should work for them as well, since heck not like i live far from them.
But now, i wonder, if i really want to work around idiots....Getting migraines daily wouldn't be the best thing for me.

I've been on IMVU since April 2004. I've been around as long as IMVU has been open. Granted this account states its from 2008, but that's because I ditched my old account long ago.
You'd think I'd be a good candidate and would have the experience in knowing what the users want? Who am I to IMVU anymore, I wonder why I'm still here.

Especially if not wanting it is an easy fix? They gave us mute options and disabling options for a reason, if people can not utilize them then they can shut the hell up.

It's called all the people that filed help tickets having been verbally abused and threatened by people on voice. Seen as IMVU has no reprt function to support what they added how does that look after it's customers.
Adn don't give out the just turn of your voice settings or not go in those rooms stick to the ones that are controlled. It's actually happened to the room owners in some cases. Who did control the rooms did boot the abusers but when IMVU can't even disconnect to abusive person from the room for the vioce it's not very effective.

They can have a feature that records all voice chats or logs them somewhere on users computer or what ever else. It's not that hard to add such a feature, just have to think. .-.' Which IMVU lacks in lately.

Since i have been part of a voice chat community on a site that went down a while back cuz they didn't have enough funding to keep going. But they had a feature where all the voice chat sessions were logged into there system to prevent harassment and further on. So honestly, why can't IMVU do the same. .-.'

Just remember though that VC wasn't actually provided by IMVU they got it off a third part they didn't create it themselves just like the do with the music store.

Or perhaps ask those who do own the voice chat to create such a feature or if they all ready have it let IMVU use it. But oohh, that would probably cost them money, and we all know IMVU is greedy. What a shame.
