I know it can be done, I just cannot for the life of me figure out how to do it. If anyone could tell me what to do I'd really appreciate it

| I always thought you had to have the original mesh and do it in 3DS Max. Did that change? I'm quite curious. |

Well I'm not sure, I was browsing the catalog and I found a bed I really liked and it had no poses on it and the original derivation had poses, if the mesh was reworked, wouldn't it have been set to derivable too? I'm not sure but I decided to browse for poseless items and found that there are a lot of items without poses that were derived from posed pieces.

depends, if you want to remove them entirely and have no poses then you need an empty xsf. be easy to whip up if that's what you need.
Other option is to swap them out for your own poses, that can be frustrating as it takes quite a bit of trial and error and fudging to make it line up right, but is doable. Poses would need to be made in Max or in Deliverances' pose maker. http://www.imvu.com/catalog/modules.php?op=modload&name=phpbb2&file=viewtopic.php&t=251970
just removing the animations will make them into standing spots. _________________ Showroom Public Room! Click Banner for Tutorials!

No poses wanted, I like putting ones I purchase in and having fun with placement and what not. If you could show/tell me what to do that'd be really amazing of you

open up Notepad
Paste in this text...
<HEADER MAGIC="XSF" VERSION="919" />
<SKELETON NUMBONES="1" SCENEAMBIENTCOLOR="0.560784 0.560784 0.560784">
<BONE NAME="Root" NUMCHILDS="0" ID="0">
<TRANSLATION>-2.12096e-005 0 2.12096e-005</TRANSLATION>
<ROTATION>0 0 0 1</ROTATION>
<LOCALTRANSLATION>2.12096e-005 -0 -2.12096e-005</LOCALTRANSLATION>
<LOCALROTATION>0 0 0 1</LOCALROTATION>
<PARENTID>-1</PARENTID>
</BONE>
</SKELETON>
Then do a 'Save as' and name it Empty.xsf
(empty can be anything, the .xsf is the important thing)
Then use that file to replace the xsf the product is using and you should be good to go. _________________ Showroom Public Room! Click Banner for Tutorials!

Don't worry about the drop down stuff just type 'empty.xsf' (minus the quotes) as the file name. _________________ Showroom Public Room! Click Banner for Tutorials!
