Thanks for taking the time to respond, Matt. The main issue with CS is if you flag something were the mapping has been changed to make the MCG smaller, CS isn't going to understand why its being flagged as the red is still covered, just made smaller...
AS for fixing the the master file to correct the smear issue, good luck.. Its a royal pita _________________ Be Afraid, Very Afraid

perhaps a simple fix for this? a second skin type thing where it will apply a overlay texture of the red/white area's to the avatar body? one that specific to the review area? just a thought _________________ Did I.Q.'s drop sharply in here while I was away?

HS - While I plan on addressing this in the master mesh, there is no way to force this fix through other products. Juft FYI.
Right... every mesher who creates composite bodysuits will need to make a similar modification to get rid of the smear.
Just to clarify, Matt, if we modify the mapping to get rid of the smear its OK, but if we modify the mapping to make the red bits around the crotch and/or bust area smaller, that is NOT OK, correct?
Thanks for popping in here, as always it is appreciated. _________________

Hello all,
I just posted the following announcement/update to Creator News:
We recently discovered a minor inaccuracy on the default female avatar minimum coverage skin texture. Specifically, there was a splash of "red" that covered part of the leg when it only should have covered the crotch. As a result, some products a Creator intended to be GA may have been rated as AP.
We have now fixed the Master female weighting mesh as well as the MCG texture itself. All Creators should use the new meshes contained in the Master file. Any Creator who developed meshes using the previous inaccurate version will need to manually edit their mesh by updating to this new master file. In addition, Creators who derived from another Creator's mesh which contained this inaccuracy should reach out to the original Creator and ask them to download the latest master file and discard previous versions.
We are still working on completely rolling out the changes, so they may not be available for a few days. Fortunately, many Creators noticed this issue on their own and made the fix themselves, so this problem isn't too widespread.
To reiterate, we corrected the following to address this inaccuracy:
* New mapping on the female Master weighting file
- Creators should download the latest version and discard previous ones. You can check for the latest version by verifying that the animation length is 150 frames.
* New MCG skin texture
- We made some minor tweaks to the red in the crotch area.
* New MCG texture was added to:
- MCG skin products
- Downloadable MCG files found on the VGP page
- Master weighting ZIP file
*The PSD file downloads found on all of the master IMVU skin product pages have also been updated.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention so that we could correct it! We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Best,
Jami

Is the new MCG going to make existing meshes non-compliant?
I have some skin tight composite meshes that I cannot edit. I no longer have the max files for them.
I cannot remake them into the same body shape either, there's no way to duplicate that using the new master file.
Does that mean I'm going to get in trouble for not fixing them? I have NO WAY to fix them.
Sorry, I'm coming off as ungrateful! I am happy that this is being addressed, I just have those few questions for now. _________________

Thanks MsLin and Ao!
Merc - if your products show red where they shouldn't, then they violate the VGP. On a separate note, if you are having trouble building (or rebuilding) products using the MASTER weighting file, please reach out to me via email. Hopefully I can help you figure out what to do.
