Tell me how it turns out and if anything in the tutorial needs changed, i'm not really good at explaining things...
I'm going to put a white background on mine so its easier to see, you don't have to but its a good idea to. (If you do this, make sure use a transparent layer when you make your note)
1. Make a medium/large box with the rectangle select tool. Go to Edit>Fill with FG Color. I'll be using a light orange.
2. Use the rectangle select tool again and go towards one of bottom corners and make a small box and go to Edit>Cut.
Then go to Edit>Paste. Next go to Layer>New Layer.
Before going on to the next step, make sure you FG is set to the color you made your note and the BG is set to white. (here’s what mine looks like)
3. Go to Filter>Distorts>Pagecurl. This window should come up now and set it to the settings I have below:
After pressing OK, it should look like this:
4. Now, select the Blur/Sharpen tool and make sure it is set to these settings:
Now blur the “curl” to make it look smooth, then go to your small rectangle layer (should be called pasted on your Layer dialog if you didn’t name it) and blur the edge of that to.
Should look something like this after you are done:
5. Now make a new transparent layer and switch your FG color to white , then make a big white “blob” near the center of your big square like so:
Then go to Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur. Set both the Horizontal and Vertical to about 100
And click OK.
Now your note should look like this:
6. You don’t have to do this if you want to but I always like making my notes pop out a little. Merge all your layers down into one big layer, then go to Filter>Light and Shadow>Drop Shadow. A window should pop up and set the settings to this:
Then click OK.
If you don’t like how the shadow is placed, move it to your liking and the merge it down.
Now what’s a note without writing on it Use the font tool and add your own message, merge it down and…

| I'm looking for tutorials on how to make latex. I heard it's pretty easy, but I need to read up again. I'm doing a project with someone and he wants me to make latex textures since they are big sellers. |

Ok, so i have been trying/messing around with the pixelize setting...but still i get no luck. I want to be able to make backgrounds look such as this example : |click|
But i'm getting no luck.
I know how to do it manually, which means one little box at a time, then pixeling them, and on and on, but that takes ages, and still doesn't come out correctly. D:
So i was wondering, is there some trick to this that i just happen to be missing out on? O.O _________________
