It's that time again, for Town Hall Content Creator Q&A.
Sorry for the delay in getting this out there, we were looking into hosting a live moderated chat session (either via IMVU or IRC) and ran into too many hurdles that we decided this method was best for now.
Like last time, please post your questions here. Or vote for someone else's question. Mods will help whittle the list down to 10 questions that I'll answer.
Please remember that this is specific to the CC Program when asking your questions. I'll do my best to answer the 10 selected as fully as possible. Please submit your questions by next Friday (11/2) so we have time to review them and get answers back as quickly as we can.

When are we going to see new uses for DT's?
Do you have an idea what those new uses will be, and if so, could you elaborate? If not, is staff looking for ideas?

When will exporters for newer versions of Sketchup and 3DS Max be available? Will there be support for other 3D modelling programs anytime soon?

1) When will the "Developer Spotlight" be rotated using all ToS abiding CC's and not the same faces over and over?
2) Is there any chance we can remove the "Ugly Room" from the previewer?
3) Is there any chance we can get more input from staff in the CC Council forums to work on and comment on the issues, past and present?
I also vote to include all the questions above mine to be answered!

Hey Mayor Joepez, Have you considered voip, especially for CC memebrs outside the good ol' US of A, messenger is free to use once Imvu members signup for an account 
Could Imvu host their own Voip server and cut out Messenger and Yahoo?
You could use it in the Imvu Towers too, It will save you guys shouting at each other, and it will cut down on your phonebills, a headset with a mic cost less than $10
Can CC expect a regular Town Hall Content Creator Q&A on the 26th of each month?
When do you have plans to update the Developer Income Events, and bring some more detailed information to the display, so CC (Devs) can see at a glance their sale statistics over the 3 months? it would cut down on heavy server time usage.
will it ever be renamed to Content Creator Reports and Content Creator Events?
Can the powers that be at Imvu consider letting Content Creators with no access pass have access to their AP products Editing Product and Edit Settings (presentation) area, when CC adjustments need to be done (adjusting price, renaming product, updating keywords, and general updating product when members find a fault), this will save contacting Customer Service, and lightening the load of emails/tickets they recieve.
Will we ever see an update to the bug ridden Previewer, any time before Christmas 2008?
When will the Pro Dev Icon markers be removed from the catalog?
When will Pro Devs loose their perks, have they been told a date when to expect this to be done?
when will the Developer, Sorry my bad, Content Creator Center be updated?

That's got my vote. Also on the illegal music and images for stickers / pics for the rooms.
When will smaller Content Creators get placed in the Spotlight?

ok...I'm full of.....of.....suggestion? JK! How about giving the ability to force close derivations when the "owner" doesn't want it left open? I feel it really should be the an option.

There are many who have the newer versions but no way of exporting their designs into the necessary format for IMVU.

Suggestion to reduce copyright violators:
Perhaps we should have radio check boxes that we are required to click on with different copyright related questions.
Make sure that the dev is required to click off manually that they understand and own the content provided.
Questions such as,
"Are you the original owner / creator of:
'the textures used for this product;'
'any music or sounds used in creation of this product;'
'original artwork used in the creation of this product;'
'if you are not the original owner / creator of this content, do you have written permission or does the original artist allow use of this material.'"
Also ensure there is a DMCA statement on the page so that people have to click off saying that they understand that if they are not the original owners or have permission of the original owners of the materials used to create the product, they can be prosecuted for copyright violations.
