Is there a cheaper program out there.. maybe even FREE... that I could make poses in? :/ (Cause I'm guessing you can't do it in Blender) _________________

Thank you!! I downloaded it Now just to get used to all the buttons and figure out how to get started with it. I've used 3D programs in the past, but it was for scenery... this will be new and fun to learn ^.^ Thanks again! _________________

| I'm not exactly sure. I don't 3d myself. But I thought gmax was the free version of 3ds max. it should open almost any 3d file of that kind? LOL you may have to ask keef, brokentoy, or invisigoth. Page also does poses as well. |

From what I understand, only 3dsmax can handle the IMVU skeleton and allow you to make poses. That's why so few people do it despite it being obviously very lucrative. _________________

Dang, that stinks! But yeah, it wouldn't open the file, so I couldn't use it. -sigh- Ah well... _________________

I heard that even though GMAX is free, it can't be legally used for IMVU development. I haven't personally checked the license, but if you plan to use it, you may want to. _________________

I went through the Liscense Agreement and it didn't say and it didn't say anything about not being able to use the software for commercial use... (unless I missed it.. which is possible) but it still doesn't help if I can't open up the resource file from IMVU in it. x.x If there's a way, I don't know how to do it. lol _________________
