The "promo credits" system is now in place. The good news is that this should halt the primary source of inflation in the IMVU economy. In the long run, this will help developers. The bad news is that in the short run, developers will see less credit income, because some of that income will be promo credits.
Developer Reports:
In place of the (Sales: X) mark on a product's info page, I put a "Developer Reports" link, that developers can use to see lots of information.
Any developer "involved" in a product (meaning, any developer in the product derivation chain) can look at a product's reports.
Developers can also see listings of all their products, income events, etc...
This should be more useful than developer emails, so I have turned the developer emails off. Marcus has suggested that perhaps I add a weekly digest email sent to developers?

Dusty, this is great... but I'd still like to receive developer emails as I produce my own stats from these, unless you are going to send a weekly report in a table that I can extract straight to my database. As it is now I can't see what is selling well and what isn't without looking at each individual product. _________________ Cassiopeian now has its own forums!

Looks awesome!! I love it. The only thing that I would suggest is the option to still recieve the emails, and also maybe a way to seperate stickers from other products. I have a LOT of stickers, and the vast majority are hidden and I really don't like searching through them to see my regular products. _________________
promo credits (predits) are fredits, with another name, they're credits you did not purchased, so you cant gift with them, and cant give them to other users..
Btw, I think that list of products and your sales, the link should be more visible on your devs page, cause I really can't find it
Credits (sometimes called 'Real credits') are purchased with real world currency. Because of this, they are fully transferrable and resellable.
Promotional credits are the credits IMVU gives away for free in an effort to educate new users about our incredible catalog. Because these credits are free, they can not be given away or resold (though, we plan to implement an exception to this rule).

Where is the facility for pro devs selling promo credits back to imvu for bought ones? This was what we were told would happen.
Without this facility it may be great for the economy of IMVU but it will be disastrous for mine and for those of the devs whose credits I sell. _________________ Cassiopeian now has its own forums!
