I have been searching for IMVU prepaid cards for the longest time, especially $50 ones. I've searched every Walmart in Kitchener/Waterloo, Canada. Can someone please help me for where I find them?

This is where IMVU tells you to find them: http://www.imvu.com/prepaidcard/index.php/canada

However, I checked Walmart-Canada and they don't seem to carry them online. If, however, you can buy them from Walmart-USA, they send you the code via email so that you don't even have to go to the store.

Good luck and sorry I wasn't of much help.

I'm wanting to buy them with cash rather then credit cards. Is there any other store I could try?

If you click on the first link that I gave you IMVU lists what stores carry the cards, in what denominations, and what gifts come with them.

That site used to help but doesn't do so any longer as It's old. Those stores used to carry the prepaid cards but they do not carry them anymore for some odd reason.

@ OP.....Your struggle is very real. I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba and it is next to freaking impossible to find pre-paid cards at the stores that used to carry them. I used to be able to walk into any Best Buy, Walmart, or 7-11 and buy the pre-paid cards, but now you are lucky if you can find even a $10 or $20 card anywhere. I even went as far as looking at Amazon.ca to see if they were available there, and while they do indeed sell the smaller denomination cards, you won't find the $50 cards there. It seems that if you do not live in the U.S. you simply won't find them. I would love to be proven wrong on this, but don't believe I will be unfortunately.

Exactly! I don't know why they stopped selling prepaid cards here. I'm thinking of buying $50 prepaid card from US Walmart I will get my code delivered via email, is that trust worthy? I'm afraid I won't receive the code, etc.

I work a few stores down from a Family Dollar and you can get any denomination of card you want you just tell them the amount to put on the card. I don't know if Family is in any other country then the US.

That would've been helpful if I were in US, sadly I live in Canada.

You would think that since Walmart is in Canada, that you could go in there give them your $50 cash and they could print you out the code for a $50 card.
