I don't know if this issue has a thread already and my time is much too limited to sort through everything.
Quick question though, if my account is disabled will I still collect credits from sales? |

I believe so but you won't be able to access the credits until the account is unbanned, but if it's banned by IMVU, you could have an issue. I could be wrong but this was the same answer when someone asked not that long ago.
If in doubt once some others reply to your question, you can file a help ticket at the Help link and ask CS directly. _________________

| I dont believe it does. When I was disabled the only credits I collected where the ones that where already pending. Other then that your catty disappears so you dont get any sells and no sells = no credits |

Then the answer is yes. If the account was banned by IMVU, I am not totally sure, but since you want to deactive your account, you should still receive your income. But it's better to double check with CS before you disable yourself. _________________

unless someone can see any of your items on someones elses product page your catalog will dissappear in both getting banned and enabling your account. I do know alot more about being banned and that is not only do you not see the catalog or hp and all your messages to anyone you gave will dissappear also but your public rooms become enabled until you return and turn them back on!!! so watch for that if you desable your account make sure to check your public rooms. just go to edit and turn them back on! cheers. _________________

Waaaaait folks, he's not talking IMVU disablements which are often temporary punishments but SELF DISABLEMENT...... that would be closing shop here, wouldn't do it. It would be a mess to ever get it back, if even possible.
No reason you have to be here every day hon, I've had years of problems to deal with in RL that I'd just check email here and there to make sure all was ok so far as messages from customers, peek in the forums now and again to see what IMVU had blown up recently in case anything needed fixes.
Make sure you have a good ironclad password, put a note on your hompage if you wish, maybe something to the effect of No requests at this time, if you are having a problem with one of my products please leave a message and be patient for a reply. Something generic like we all do on our home answering machines, nothing that outright says 'No one is home right now' but more of a 'we can't take your call RIGHT NOW, we'll get back to you as soon as we can' kind of thing.
Good luck with everything, this place should be the least of your worries. _________________

I highly advise against disabling your account. if you do, you may have a hard time getting it back the way it was before.
The best thing you can do is come up with a really good password to protect it if you are really worried about security. One that uses numbers, symbols, capital and lowercase letters, etc. (But make sure you can remember it) _________________

If you have intentions of returning, I highly recommend that you do not disable your account. Lots of creators take breaks to deal with RL. This is more common than you may think. They do not disable their accounts. You will risk not getting it back. I strongly advise to follow the above advice. _________________

.....you could always make your homepage private for a while even hide your products which might take a while if u have huge catalog but would be better than disabled...but if left open your items will continue to sell why ur away _________________

Agree.
As said before, self disabeling an account may result in loosing that account forever.
