I have a theory about the drop in sales some of us seem to be experiencing.
Firstly my sales were good, and regular and even with the up and down nature of sales, until 2010-2011 when they started to slip, then when imvu introduced the VIP changes to developing and we were grandfathered in, boom, all of a sudden my sales dropped dramatically, like from getting 40+ sales a day, down to 11 if I'm lucky.
So as I have not got VIP, I feel like my catalog is not visited as often, or my products are not showing up, like I've been shunted to the back of the bus so too speak.
Of course this is just a theory lol.

You might right on the dot with that theory. That wouldn't surprise me one bit. If that's the case they better be ready for the uproar.

I don't think that's the case.
My alt which doesn't have VIP has been experiencing good sales for the past few weeks.
Sales on my main account hasn't been too good though.

My sales are really good at the moment. Once I hit pro my sales went up drastically, it's weird.

I been a vip for 4 years and sometime I feel like my catalog is hidden because of the low sales, so nah.....is not the VIP, is just the way things are going lately!

| My sales have dipped the last week and partially rebounded. I had assumed it was from people taking their late summer vacations. Of course, now there are those people who are inexplicably blowing up over photo stream, I guess. |

I was a tier 6 for almost 2 years and hoping to make tier 7 (hahahaha). Then I dropped down to a tier 5 for about 8 months, and this month I dropped down to a tier 4 for the first time in years. Ive been VIP for years, and I have approx 4700 items in my catty. At least 2000 more items now than I had when I was a tier 6. I know for a FACT my items are not showing up and I have had a help ticket submitted that has remained unanswered for nearly 2 years. I have all three points in my tiers for income but 0 for my sales which I do actually believe to be about the same as they have been for the last 8 months....Im pretty much done with developing or even trying to figure things out on this site anymore. Its too frustrating. |
