February 10th, 2011, all hell broke loose. The Anti-Mutant campaigns got an upswing and the harassment of the mutants became an everyday thing. First, the mutants were just bullied in the streets, then it got really violent. By May of 2012, a war broke out.

The world has been taken apart, the United States are still fighting their war on the Mutants, allying with several of the United Nations. It's chaos all over the globe. The United Offensive ( As the new Government calls itself) have pushed down most civil-rights - you can't speak up against them, or you'll get put in prison or worse. The Fantastic Four have been killed, Spiderman was publicly unmasked and executed, the Avengers Project was shut down along with S.H.E.I.L.D and S.W.O.R.D., Thor returned to Asgard, Bruce Banner was captured and locked away, Captain America was cryogenically frozen and Tony Stark has been put in jail alongside Nick Fury, Natasha Romanov, and Clint Barton for being traitors to humankind..

The X-men are destroyed. The institue has been laid in ruins, and the professor was executed along with many students and professors. The team was either captured or killed, only a few of them survived with me.
Its getting to be July now. Year of 2016 – The war ended in August of 2013. They say that the war is over and that it’s safe now. But we know different. Because now they hunt us, and they always will. We remade the X-Men as soon as the war started and these good people are still with us today. We grow in number every day – Not just the X-Men. But all mutants. The governement knows this and they are scared. We’ve made Nevada and parts of Eastern California and a few other places our home now. And they won’t dare to venture to our lands.

We will continue to rescue mutants and ensure that they lead lives as normally as possible without suffering from predjudice at the hands of anyone. We will continue to infiltrate government buildings and recapture mutants. Soon, we’re taking back everyone. Not just the mutants – Those who support us too. We’re gonna start our own war and take back our rights. We are not animals, but we’re thought of as so and expected to act as so.

As animals caged and hunted, we will fight back.

We’re still fighting the good fight.

Birthday and Age
A specific year was given, so you should be able to use basic mathematics to figure this one out. In case not: 2016 minus your character's age equals the year they were born. Add a month and a day, and you're good to go. And please, I don't want to see everyone with characters who's birthdays just happen to be near the beginning of July. There are twelve other months.

Codename
If your character is a mutant, their Codename should reflect their powerset. If your character is a human, their Codename should reflect their strongest skill.

Ethnicity
Do I seriously need to explain this? Brazilian, American, American-Irish, Mexican, Canadian, ect.

Sexual Orientation
We're big kids. We all know what this means.

Species
Homo Sapien Superior or Homo Sapien - I'd prefer a mostly mutant cast. Just putting that out there.

Occupation
Well now. Your character can work with Lorna Polaris who works in the Dane Labs creating technology and various other things. This would require your character to have extensive knowledge in science and math.

Or they could work with Henry Beast at the McCoy Medical Complex. They would require knowledge in medical sciences. And I mean more than knowing how to apply Neosporin and a bandaid.

Or they could have ordinary jobs in the city. Waitressing, mechanic, ect.

Physical Appearance
For this, I'm asking a well-worded description of your character that will include their height, weight, hair appearance, eye color, body build, skin color, and anything extra. [sub]Scars, tattoos, piercings, tails, horns, ect[/sub] Paragraph minimum. So, don't give me a list of each of their physical attributes.

Voice Tone
What do their voices sound like? Accents?

Personality
Let's get inside the mind of your character and see how they think. What's their initial disposition? What makes them tick? What do they like? Are they scared of something...or someone?

Mutation Only applies if your character is in fact, a mutant.
What extraordinary gift has the X-Gene granted your character? Please, try to be creative, yet don't over-analyze it. Try to keep your mutations different from everyone else's. And try to keep your mutation(s) related to each other in some sort of way. That means you can't be a shapeshifter that can turn invisible and breathe fire. [sub]Of course, an exaggeration, but you get the point.[/sub]

Mutation Attributes
What are the effects of their mutation towards other people? What does their mutation allow them to do?

Weaknesses
Every character has a weakness - Even if it's just one. And I don't want just emotional/psychological weaknesses. What are their physical weaknesses? Mental? Emotional?

Equipment
What weapons do they have? Items of sentimental value? Some kind of armor? Be reasonable here. I don't want all the guns they have hidden in their room plus the ones in their car and the one they keep hidden somewhere. What are the weapons if they have any that are with them no matter what. The ones that can be carried on their body all at once.

Fashion
What is your character's usual apparel? Are they high-class fashionistas? Or do they prefer a grunge look? Maybe they like that 'just got out of the gym' look with constant tank tops and shorts.

Skills
This ranges from combat to domestic and academic skills.

Flaws/Disabilities
I'm not looking for emos, orphans, crazies, and other generic characters. But everyone has something wrong with them. Maybe its OCD, maybe their emotions get the best of them at times maybe its a person they care for, maybe they have a few mental/emotional/psychological disorders? Not necessarily weaknesses, but quirks.

Biography
I'm looking for quality detail here. Where did your character come from, what was their life like before the war? When did they discover their mutation? What or who lead them to where they are now? What was it that made them who they are now?

IC Relationships
Just put what IC relationships you have with other characters here. Of course it should be updated every now and then.

Information:
The War: February 10th, 2012 – The United States, Russia, North Korea, China, Scotland, Brazil, Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Saudi Arabia joined in arms to control the mutant population – They called themselves The United Offensive. They began to by forcing mutants to register – They would give their names, their full contact information, and their mutation. They would then be given a mutant ID card that they would have to wear when in public – Which caused them to more often than not be singled out and attacked by anti-mutant citizens. Then, whatever rights they had were taken away. They were nothing more than illegal immigrants with no home. Next, they would take the mutants who were seen to have useful powers and they would mold them into soldiers. Those that resisted were killed. All other superhero figures were disposed of by one way or another. Of course, with this new day and age – A lot of the younger generation spoke out against this. But that’s not what changed the minds of the UO…Whatever it was that spooked them caused the war to end August 25th, 2013.

X-Men: Only a few months after the war broke out and the original X-Men were killed…or at least most of them…Remy LeBeau began to round up what mutants that he could with the help of Henry McCoy, James Howlett, and Lorna Dane. For the next eighteen months, they dedicated their lives to finding a Haven for mutants – Which just so happened to be Las Vegas. And pretty soon, all of Nevada. Now, they manage the mutant population’s safety as best they can from their base at the MGM Grand.

MES: Mutant Extermination Squad. A group comprised of five humans and three mutants employed by the United Offensive to kill mutants.

MHS: Mutant Hunting Squad. A group comprised of two mutants and three humans employed by the United Offensive to capture mutants and place them under arrest for false charges. They would then be taken to a facility where they would be interrogated, experimented upon, and/or killed.

Rules!

Don't ask to play a Canon Character - They will be GM-controlled.

TRY to refrain from canon offspring. - If you make one, it'll more than likely be rejected. (That means you can't make a character that is the child of a pre-established Marvel character)

Mutants or Humans only. - No Asgardians, Aliens, or person with powers by any means other than the X-Gene.

Sorry, but no bad guys. Yet. For now, they'll be NPCs.

Don't overpower your character. - No Supermans. Its unattractive.

Try to branch out your powers from everyone else's. I don't want 50million people with enhanced senses, physical performance, and intelligence. Be CREATIVE.

Respect fellow players when speaking Out of Character.

PLEASE don't mix. - Character actions/thoughts/emotions should NEVER reflect a player's feelings. In other words: Don't emotionally attach yourself.

This is not a light roleplay. I expect detailed posts with full sentences and a show of at least trying to demonstrate that you have grasped the concept of the English language. Ie: No text speak or emoticons. We're all writers here - Let's act like it. And if you're going to post 1-2 lines constantly, you better make them worth it. I don't want any. *she looked at him and laughed* kind of posts. Read everyone's posts and make sure your post includes a reply to each thing that applies to your character. I don't want any complaints that someone wasn't paying attention.

Be active! If you're gonna be gone 2+ days, let someone know. Feel free to allow another player to control your character until your return. You don't have to, but it's an option.

Don't autohit unless given permission by corresponding player.

This is not a purely action Roleplay - I don't want morons trying to start fights every two minutes because they crave action. There will be elements of suspense, mystery, and of course romance as well as other key ingredients to a good dramatic Roleplay.

The storyline for this Roleplay is set in stone - Don't try to derail it and make it to what you want. Think of it as removing characters from a book but keeping the plot - You just choose how your character handles everything thrown at them and hope they survive.

This is not one of those Roleplays where you turn in a Character Sheet and find yourself automatically accepted. Both of my GMs and I will look over your character sheets and determine whether or not the character is approved. You won't be permitted to Roleplay until approval is gained by at least 3/5 GMs.And if we ask you to change something, please don't argue. We want/need to make sure that each character fits into the Roleplay. And don't worry - I will be on often and will check Character Sheets daily and let you know the minute a decision for your character has been made.

They call this Cajun charmer Gambit. After most of the X-Men fell, he began to train younger ones in secrecy, forming a new X-Men with the new kids and those that were left. He founded 'New Vegas' as a Mutant haven and as the HQ for the new X-Men. Remy can usually be found at the Stratosphere Hotel and Resort - The new HQ - meditating on the rooftop or scamming others at card games, relaxing a bit. He's not allowed in the casinos because everyone knows he cheats. He's a sweet guy and a notorious flirt.

Mutation: Immortality/Super Regeneration/Adamantium Claws

He's known as The Wolverine to most and he's Remy's second in command. There's a Gym in town where he trains up and coming fighters who want to join the X-Men's frontline team. He's usually found harassing Cataleia or working on a vehicle if not in the gym He's not a jerk or condescending, but he's not really a chatterbox either and it takes time for others to get close to him.

The blue man known as The Beast. He used to be a strong political figure that aided mutants by acting as an ambassador between the humans and mutants. Now, the once-boy-genius spends his time in the hospital complex named for him, aiding the injured - Mentally and physically. If not busy healing, he's studying with Lorna on something very top secret - Not even their interns know what it is, though it is for good reason. He's a sweet and understanding man that many mutants take their problems to, as he graciously helps them as best he can.

Mutation: Ferrokinesis

The only surviving daughter of Magneto - It was a surprise to see Polaris join forces with Gambit and his ragtag crew of X-Men after he had decided to take matters into his own hands, but she's not as extreme as her father. She's a bit of a hardass and doesn't seem to take too well to failure or downright weakness. She analyzes every mutant that she gets to know and sorts out their strengths and weaknesses and makes sure that they are trained to be their best. Her time is spent within her labs in the city or in her labs at the MGM. She's extremely bright when it comes to physics, chemistry, and engineering. She's not really the one that people want to talk to for random conversation because of her general attitude of disapproval, love of sarcasm, and her ever-present cynicism.

Cataleia-Inocencia del Rosario

Mutation: Advanced Audiokinesis/Lumokinesis

A young woman of high intellect, she's served with Gambit and his crew for the past nearly three years. While Remy and Logan call the shots and maintain the city, they allow her to coordinate missions. While The Raver's sexy charm and sensual build might make you think she's harmless, you should watch out. She tends to get what she wants and is a hell of a lot tougher than her appearance gives away, being a well-accomplished Martial Artist. She's generally very nice and outgoing - Very empathetic. But if she's truly pissed off, she doesn't talk to anyone and would rather dance and sing the anger out of her body. Cliche, but effective.

Born an Irish Native, Terry, the short tempered, mischievous Mutant also know as "The Trickster", has been a Runner ever since the War started. He's made a name for himself in the state of California as one of the most wanted Mutants, driving most Hunters and Exterminators to the brink of Mental Suicide by entering their mind and making their biggest Nightmares a Reality. Although, in some cases that have been proven, there are some of which that have fallen victim to Tricksters "Kind" side, by exchanging Fantasy for Freedom. Now, Trickster runs with Cat in New Vegas, trying to become an X-Men and fight against the U.O. to avenge the Murder of his Mother, Rose and his Little Sister, Joy.

~Synopsis of storyline~

Five years after the events of the original game, that's three years after Advent Children, and two years after the conclusion of Dirge of Cerberus, a new conflict arises involving, of all things, a small child, which creates a massive rift between the heros of this world, which threatens to tear apart friendships, all in the name of what's right...

It all starts long before most things even occurred.. Long ago, just before the Birth of Sephiroth..

After Vincent was saved by Lucrecia and shoved into the basement, Hojo took advantage and gathered genetic material from him. [You cant put it past Hojo to have done that.]. After Sephiroth was born, he also obtained genetic material in the form of an unfertilized egg from Lucrecia, and started a new project, assuming that having both cells of Jenova and the chaos gene would make an improved specimen.. Unfortunately, after Lucrecia disappeared he lacked the other sample, so after genetically creating one specimen, he put him in stasis hidden within the Corel reactor, at the physical age of four years old, until he could find an opportunity to experiment with cloning him [since he was busy with Sephiroth and that clone series]. So it was when the Corel reactor was finally shut down that the hidden chamber is turned off, allowing the kid to wake up in a tube and somehow manage to make his way to the forgotten city area, where Vincent broods in his free time. No one knows of this secret project, but it's obvious by all appearences that he has some relation to vincent, and besides, Jenova-infused or not, Vincent cannot bring himself kill a small frightened child. The RP starts there, with Vincent discovering who this kid is, and being a product of both him AND Lucrecia, inevitably changes his life. But since the kid also has the Jenova strain, it's causes a rift between the group of heroes, dividing who thinks the kid should live, and who thinks, for the safety of the planet, he should be put down before there's a problem.

Should he be permitted to live? Would his volatile DNA makeup make for a catastrophic disaster in the future? Who is truly in the right? Those that wish to protect the life of an innocent child, or those that wish to stop terror before it strikes?

Appearance: 5’3, dark long hair, yellow feline eyes, tan skin. Usually dressed in dark clothing.

Personality: reserved at first approach. While she always avoids any touch from a person, she is usually sweet, attentive to other people. When the spirit takes over, she is full of anger and restless

History: Before Alix’s time there were five kingdoms; Prareven, Andorin, Temelier, Catalonia and Kievan. The King of Kievan unfortunately only had daughters, but needed a son to take his place in the future. He went to the other kingdoms to try and marry off his daughters, promising that the prince who married his eldest daughter would become king of Kievan but had to give up his lineage to the his home kingdom. He was refused and turned away by the other four kingdoms. Angry, the King cursed the other kingdom. It is said that he placed an animal spirit in each King’s sons. Prareven was cursed with the tiger, Andorin with the lion, Temelier with leopard and Catalonia with the panther. The men struggled to control the animals inside them, but it took control. The men killed, ***, and caused terrible chaos within the kingdoms. Over time, the chaos ended, but any man with the animal spirit struggled to live in control. Some were stronger than others and found peace with their other side. Rarely was a woman born with the spirit inside her. Alix’s family had lived in the Catalonia Kingdom for centuries. When Alix was born with the well known eyes of the panther, her family was horrified. As she grew up, she was kept secluded from other people except for her immediate family. The panther inside her grew restless time and time again, causing destruction within the home plenty of times. For days Alix would not be Alix, but the panther. Causing only harm to those who approached her, by the age of 12 when the spirit was too powerful she would disappear for days in the forest behind her family’s home. Along with this animal spirit, Alix had to learn to control her own family power from her mother’s side (witch), telekinesis. At age 17, she left home without looking back. Now she wanders about, looking for a place to settle but never feeling at ease anywhere.

The clock tower tolled. The students took their seats….

And in walked a new face.

“Good evening students.”

Annika Caldeirone, Professor Caldeirone, crossed the room where she stood beside the desk and turned to the class. Each and everyone one of them were stalk still, silent, and watching her. She could tell the kind of questions that were scrolling through their heads: Who is that? Where’s our professor? What’s going on? Annika simply gave a short, warm smile in return for the blank faces. “As I’m sure you all are aware by now, your usual professor will not be attending this lesson. Nor will she be for the next three days,” Ms. Caldeirone began, her strong, assertive voice being projected easily throughout the room.

“Allow me to introduce myself. I am Miss Caldeirone, a student professor majoring in Astronomy and hoping to become a full-time professor. But as for you, you may call me Professor Caldeirone. For the remainder of the year I shall be teaching this class every other week, three days at a time. I hope our time together will be enjoyable and that we all have as much fun as I hope we will. Does anyone have any questions you’d like me to answer?” Annika clasped her hands together in front of her as she leaned against her desk. Only more silence and staring met her. She was noticing the boys in particular give her strange looks before giving glances to their friends and smirking a little though as she stared out into the crowd. She knew several professors thought it unwise for her to be teaching. Annika was young and fair. She would be judged as just a pretty face and given less respect. But Annika was anything but “just a pretty face”.

She gave one nod. “Right,” she began, looking away and turning to pick up a text book from off the teacher’s desk. “If you all would turn to chapter twelve in your textbooks, we will start tonight’s lesson: Predicting future--or seasonal--shifts and alignments. Then a little bit later we might be able to experiment a little if we have enough time.” The rustle of classroom movement ensued. The first given lesson began. One of the few freebee lessons a professor will ever get before the class becomes comfortable with the change and begins misbehaving.

A fourth week of teaching rolled around. The students had been dismissed, and all who remained was one lone student and one semi-tired looking Annika. She loomed over her desk, leaning on her palms which rested flat upon the wooden desk as she studied a piece of parchment. A student’s assignment. “And where was this assignment last week Mister Bewstall?” The boy averted his gaze to the ground as his mind made quick haste to think of an explanation.

Annika knew the boy had slacked off and had nothing to tell, but she wasn’t paying attention to him. Instead, she was rifling through several papers which lay upon the desk. She continued and the boy watched until she came upon the documentation of student grades. She turned picked out the name Jeremy Bewstall. “I see you are a hardworking boy; however, you know no late work is accepted. Tell me why should I accept this?” The boy began making his plea, and she looked at the boy with a weary expression. He looked so unhappy, and he had been working so hard throughout his entire year. At the end, Annika looked back down at his paper.

With a deep sigh following a tense silence, she spoke. “I’ll tell you what I’m going to do, Jeremy,” she used his first name. It was to signify that this held more meaning and weight than any old regular thing. She’s really talking business to do something different. “I’m going to accept this, but I expect to see no more late assignments. Nothing less than one hundred percent from you. Understand?” She looked him dead in the eye, and at the moment the boy just seemed relieved it was accepted. He nodded and Annika straightened up, adding the paper with a stack of others before putting them within a file part of her briefcase. For the first time, as the boy came to the doorway to exit the classroom, she was wished a good evening and a good weekend. Annika looked after the boy as he left, a smile creeping up to her face. That was what made teaching all the while.

So the day ended late, and Annika was left walking through the halls, carrying her belongings in one hand. As she walked, she took the time to admire the halls. Boy did these bring back old memories. A Ravenclaw in her time, she remembered climbing up and down these steps with vigor. So innocent, so vibrant, so alive. Walking with gal pals, going to classes, attending Quidditch matches. Now still a young adult in her early twenties, it almost felt like all of that was so long ago. She wasn’t so naïve. She was an intelligent, fresh young woman who never mixed her serious work-life with her more lax, laid back one. Though quite assertive in the classroom, Annika was, in actuality, very kind and very nice. She had a sense of humor and need to live life as fully as possible. She knew what she had to do first though before allowing herself to let go.

Annika was a big girl now in the big world. In the beginning of her teachings here, around the end of her first week, some asked her for her first name. She refused to give it and told them that all they needed to worry about was her professor title. Another day brought on where she resided in the castle. At this, Annika said she didn’t.

No, Annika didn’t have any sleeping quarters within the castle. All of the lodging within the castle was taken by fellow staff and students. Or at least…all of the lodging that stayed in one place was taken. There was no point in having a room that would be on the first floor one day and the thirtieth floor the next. She’d have to spend hours each night just to find her room at least. Instead, Annika took up lodging within the sleepy town of Hogsmeade. So every night it was required of her to trudge in and out of the school whenever her job was finished.

Annika’s feet now gently tapped on the polished marble floor of the Grand Entrance. Not really wanting to leave down the dark, chilly night path to Hogsmeade quiet yet, Annika turned her attention the left in front of her. It was where she thought she remembered where the Great Hall was, and indeed it was. Quietly pushing open a door, Annika entered. The tables were cleaned, and only a bit of food lay out. Light deserts, water, juice, hot chocolate. Even though Dumbledore had passed, it was apparent McGonagal dared not change the foods which were given to the children.

Looking beyond the vertically placed house tables, Annika set her eyes upon the staff table. Though welcome to sit there now, she only obliged herself with the somewhat different kinds of food which were given at the table. The coffee was an example. Pouring herself a small mug and mixing in the cream and sugar, Annika looked out over the tables to pick a seat which met her fancy. She found herself drawn to the very end of the Gryffindor table, within view of the exit, positioned near the center, and farthest from the staff table. Plopping herself down in the seat in a somewhat exhausted way, Annika gave a long, relaxed sigh, her hands tenderly cradling the warm mug. Her robes and belongings sat beside her. Her dark sea of brunette hair was out of its bun and now lay over her shoulders and down her back, falling a little bit in her fair face as she leaned over her coffee. Her deep chocolate brown eyes peered absently into the creamy café-colored contents of the mug. She was lost in pensive and random thoughts. Gosh, it was nice to relax. She knew some students who were resistant to change didn't want her to stay, but she assured the delinquents that she had no intentions of leaving, and that she was quite certain of. She wasn't about to back down and go off to cry in a corner just because some students felt like being rude and inconsiderate.

Not after everything she’s been through. Annika frowned. Not after she made that promise.

Oh, yes…a promise.

“Hey, Annie…” a low voice rumbled in her right ear.

The sounds of her chuckle echoed in her ears even as she took a sip of her coffee.

It was cold outside where they sat upon the lawn of a park in London. The fleece blanket she and this voice sat on was growing damp from the grass, but they paid no minds. The man with shaggy blonde hair and beautiful brown eyes held Annika close, her feminine frame molding into his broad chest and protective arms. Not to mention the warm body heat his coat was doing good at keeping in. He was able to relish in the smell of her shampoo from the hair on the top of her head while she was able to take in the boyish, soapy scent of his coat wrapped around the both of them. The stars were dimmed that night by fireworks that splashed the boughs above their heads with brilliant color in the blue velvet of night.

“What?” she said absently as she watched a firework burst. A hand played with her hair, and a pair of lips grazed her neck just as the bang of the explosion sounded over the land, making her jump lightly. “Hmm, Mike…” she fidgeted, playfully swatting his arm. “We said we wouldn’t until our wedding.” Shivers ran down her spine, and her curiosity spiked as Michael McKinny actually broke out in breathy laughter, as though he was trying to contain it.

“Though I’m glad to see I’m not the only one thinking of it,” he replied, laughter and suggestion in his voice. “I’m afraid that wasn’t my intention. I believe you made that rule quite clear about two months after we began dating.”

Annika blushed when she remembered accidentally pushing him off the couch in startled indignation when he had reached for her shirt buttons. Mike continued. “But…I was just wondering. If this job at Hogwarts plan works out, will you still be able to live at home, or could I live there?” For once, Annie actually cringed.

“Hey, I haven’t even gotten my teaching degree yet,” she tried. Perhaps he was feeling he would be left out. She refused to keep him from anything in her life, but as a witch it was difficult sharing her life with a muggle. At this, his tone grew serious.

“Are you saying you might be reconsidering teaching at that school?”

“Well-“

“Don’t you dare, Annie. You’re smarter than that. Don’t give up on that dream.”

She frowned as he hugged her and kissed the side of her face through her hair. “Please don’t throw all of this work away on me. You love teaching, and you love Hogwarts. Besides…I’ve always loved a good mystery. There’s no better high than learning something new, than finding out. There’s so much more I want to learn about you Annie. Liiike…what’s your quirkiest pet peeve, what you’ll look like when your old, what it’s like being married to a witch…in bed.”

“Mike!” she groaned. He totally ruined the moment, but he laughed and rocked her as he hugged her closer. She melted against him.

“What you’ll look like when you wake up in the mornings, what it’ll be like seeing you waddle….”

“W...addle?” Her eyebrow raised, her feeble voice tinted with question.

“When we have kids.”

She imagined the day they would find out, the day she’d notice the hints of a baby bump, the day when she looked about ready to pop yet he’d still wrap his arms around her to feel her belly, and for the first time the thought didn’t scare the crap out of her. She was willing to face anything with Mike, to take any step. She was actually looking forward to having his children. “Not any time incredibly soon of course,” Annika retorted warningly.

“Oh, of course,” he replied with a chuckle. He gaze remained on her as her own returned to the fireworks bursting in the skies. The sounds of people in awe and happy cheering surrounded them, and yet they felt like they were in a world all their own. “So, promise me you’ll follow through with what you planned to do before you met me. Promise me you’ll go change lives and mold brains at that magic school.”

Annika nodded slightly. “I promise.”

“And that no matter what happens, you’ll always come home to me.”

She melted. “Promise.”

He sighed into her hair. “I love you, Missus McKinny.”

“And I love you Mister McKinny.” They both cringed and laughed at the names, and Annika managed to wriggle herself around, a hand falling back to his neck as she brought his lips down to hers in a kiss.

The first promise was why she sat there today, now gaping quite thoughtlessly into her half-full mug. The second, however, was much more difficult to keep.

Death had a way of making it difficult for anyone to come home to someone. Merlin, she had been so ready to give everything to him. She had been so ready for marriage that now it seemed almost funny how a piece of twisted metal and glass, the last remains of a wrecked car, stood between her and Mike.

The RP will be set around 1600s in Italy. You will have to choose one of the houses to be a part of. A description of each house is listed below:

The house of Malatesta. (Necromancers and philosophers.) Descendants of Sigismondo Malatesta. Starting with their ancestor with numerous foul deeds upon his head. Around 1462 he came into control of lands and with time he was excommunicated with the church, pronounced as a heretic for being very pagan in nature. He was a bit of a philosopher in his time, in secret he worked on Satanic and demonic works, becoming a Satanist. Unknowingly he sired a line of demon children. The members of this house are usually given to act according to their whims and desires, not caring in the least what others think. It is more about The closest them are usually their apprentice or their familiar, but even they may be considered disposable.

The house of Medici. (Philosophers and healers) Descendants of Lorenzo de Medici. Starting with their ancestor, numerous good deeds to his name, mostly those of a charitable nature. This ancestor put a strong emphasis on the arts, making Florence the cultural capital of the world. Through his charitable deeds he sired a line of angels. This house is often given to flaunting their artistic inventory or to balls and the like, hosting many social gatherings. These events attract members of all families to attend, share gossip, and numerous other things.

The house of Borgia. (Warriors and Assassins) Family of Caesar Borgia, a wealthy and handsome prince, powerful in wealth and skilled with the sword. Born leaders. With a bit of demonic blood in their veins, but still new to their demonic powers unlike the Malatesta family. More skilled in sword play than with magicks. Many of this house attempt to gain more political power and material power. They often shy away from their more demonic side, especially in public where their reputation might be ruined. Often they wish to be rather popular and loved by the people more than by close friends and family.

The house of Caravaggio. (Warriors and Assassins.) Family of Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio, a well known painter, gambler, and drunkard. Most of his paintings are very religious in nature, showing an internal struggle for his soul. Up to the very end it was still unclear which side was the winning side. This family has some angelic blood within their veins, and like the house of Borgia they too have not yet mastered their powers, many are in a struggle to understand what is right and what is wrong. Usually given into fits of rage and fights, but deep down they know what is good. Always disposed to protect and cherish those closest to them instead of the public view. Caravaggio’s only child is an daughter, Lucia Merisi da Caravaggio, a young woman with angelic blood.

This is the intro for the rp.

Up high in the vast cold sky between the soft gentle clouds stands a lonely Dragoness on a sacred forgotten temple. On a temple that is hidden very far away from the mortals and immortals realms for safety of the endangered species that is slowly disappearing within the years. Here in this Ancient haven the last remaining dragons have come together to continue the existence of their pure full breed species. The ancient dragons have been hunted or were passed away in time and the majority of the pure breed dragons have disappeared by their mixed bloods of births by another race. But still every dragon is welcomed in this sacred dragon temple by their Dragoness Priest Skye. The ancient temple is a safe environment for dragons to life in their own nature, they can hatch their eggs or mate with each other (mating mostly happens in pvt chat and not public, it is a GA room), baby dragons can be raised in their natural habitat; the dragoness priest also preforms marriage bonds between the dragon mates. The nests are safely secured with a magic spell with fireflies surrounding the eggs; upon the floors are the dragon younglings flapping their little wings around. Near the open space are some seats for the dragons and other species to sit down and talk.

There is only a public room for now; I am planning to open a group for the rp soon if there are enough members to keep the flow going. It’s a medium/light rp in the room, when the group opens I will add forum-based postings. But in the room turned-based rps are allowed too as long it doesn’t get to long as novella length, keep the post decent and detailed to give everyone enough turns.

Requirements:

- Roleplayers with dragon-race character or at least a half breed (not a mixed breed with 10 other races, only with a dragon with 1 other mixed race is acceptable but also if it has some logic in it). Don’t need to buy dragon avatars or new stuff just use your best dragon look if you want to change for your character, but mostly the dragon-characters will be moving around in humanoid form. Character age can be from very old to infant, since hatching does happen in the roleplay.

- Something minor that I feel important is that in the rp room you might need the patience with some people. I have made the room also as “light” roleplay but no one or two-liners are allowed, sometimes I just feel too tired to make a decent long post and go very short. There are also some inexperienced roleplayers coming by often. Please have the patient to deal with them and if they really bug you out just leave the room and come back another time. (Yes a group might be added in the future)

IC-roles. Which I feel is needed to be filled to help my character; these roles have to be earned by your character and are not easily given away:

- 2 other priests
- Teachers
- Hatchers
- Cleaners

I would normally say guards but if there are enough priest roles filled then that be enough to protect the eggs.

- Temporarily there are no storylines for this rp yet, simply because there aren’t enough members and rp is still beginning. I hope to make plots and storylines with new members in the roleplay, anyone is free to help and add their own idea’s in the rp.

Looking for role players!

Imperium is a vampire based rp focused on story lines. Our vision of vampirism is that it is a disease that only affects certain people, and those people have enhanced abilities because of it's effects. We have guidelines on what those abilities are so there will not be vampires older and stronger than god that can do anything magical you can think of. We want great stories and are looking for people who can help develop story lines. This is a detailed rp with lots of possibilities for characters.

This is a modern, city setting rp that only vampires and humans can join. Humans can also be blood dolls.

Requirements:
1. Be as active as you can. This will be a forum, group and chat available rp.
2. Only vampires and human allowed
3. No text speaking. Proper grammar is a must.
4. A moderate to heavy role player is preferred in group rp, but some light rp may occur in chat. We will teach RP but only if you're serious about becoming a role player.
5. We want quality role players so we will like a 'getting to know you' interview and a demonstration of your rp abilities. We are not looking for the greatest role players ever but want people who simply love rp and are dedicated to it, as well as love to create characters and develop them through a story.

There is much more about the group that will be shared upon meeting. We do not have a problem with multi-character accounts so you can be in other rp's and families. Just keep them separate in the group, please.
