Let's say I have this text but the background appear to be white. How do I make it transparent where it's just the words and not the white background? _________________

Which program?
the only one that doesn't do it automatically is GIMP i believe, so ima guess you are using that
you have to go to the layers, and click add alpha channel
then save as a .png _________________

If you are using a program that allows you to create layers:
1. Use a tool that will help you eliminate the background (Photoshop is magic wand tool. I'm not sure about Gimp yet).
2. Duplicate layer.
3. Set the bottom one to invisible.
4. Save as png.
Hoping this helps and doesn't confuse you. _________________

if your using adobe PS, you can use wand tool to erase the base of your image. also you can use pen tool for clean cropping. just simple drag the image u cropped in a new project with transparent background. save it as .png to make it transparent.
hope this could help. |
