|
|
| Sins yesterday i am having a strange issue. IMVU still does log me in and starts up like it should, however it starts up minimized on the task bar, similar to what would happen if i close the client but not shut it down. However when i try to pull it up from my task bar nothing happens. when i click on the IMVU icon, doesn't matter if i use my left or my right mouse button, simply nothing happens. This issue causes me to become unable to do anything at all, while I'm still being shown as on-line. I already tried to reboot my PC twice as well as reinstalled IMVU and installed the latest version of it. But I am still unable to IMVU. Is there anyone out there that knows what causes this issue or how to solve it? If so i would like to hear it so i can go back on-line. |

Have you changed your internet network at all? Are you using a satellite connection?
This is a known issue with recent satellite technology changes and currently has no fix. _________________

| The only change to my Internet connection i have made is a new modem yesterday morning because the old one broke.. although i still have the same Internet provider and such things. Could that be the reason? |

If you are on a satellite connection, yes it could. _________________

| I am pretty sure im not on satellite connection. I only replaced my modem, my router, Internet provider and all such things are still the same. I also tried to log in through my phones Internet connection which used to work before, but that gives the same problem. With that i am fairly sure i can say the problem isn't in the replacement of my modem. |

Do you have another account? Try logging in with it and see if the same thing happens. I agree that if your phone modem is doing the same thing the problem must be something on your PC. _________________

| I just tried with my other account and the same thing happen. Although i haven't made any changed inside my computer that i'm aware of resend. I am running a virus and malware scan right now to see if that might solve something. But beside that i wont know myself what the problem might be then. |

| Both scans came up without any results. So i myself am out of ideas of what caused this problems. If anyone has any other idea's of why IMVU is acting like that i would like to hear it. |

| I'll look into it but.. if i use my phone's connection. Which is completely separate from my modem, i get the same problem. Also according to my friends i do log in properly. But the IMVU screen just wont show up. Although its coincident that it is at the same day as my new modem.. I myself doubt that the problem is in the modem. |

Alright, let me get back on that. The problem was in my modem after all. I have been digging through it and trying. People might want to know this for further problems.
My modem has a cloud security which caused this problem, logging in and turning it off did resolve the issue for me.
Eiter way thank for you time for trying to resolve the issue. |
