I make an example:
-when i move a one vertice on the left side don't respect the simmetry on the right side. One vertice is red and other is dark pink so half head is different by the other side. I would know why...Thank you!
This pic is of the vertices that are marked with other colour:
Then this happens. In this picture is very evident how the lips are different on top one is more high(i have marked with a red line for understand better):

I feel like i could help. u see ur dots aren't the same intensity of red? you need to chose a diff setting.. like range, on top. u'll see it.. where it says sine and stuff.. pick one that choses all the selected vertices evenly.. i think it's sine.. not sure i don't have it open. u can double check by increasing the volume n seeing if it choses everything an even color intensity.
Also i noticed while working with this alot.. the vertices stop being even anyway!.. and of course.. there's always not enough help for this topic.. this thread is ust full of people saying thank u and commenting on what a great program it is.... thanks alot lol
i hope that helped u. and if you still don't get it, i understand how you feel! don't be shy to ask me xp peace :> |

|
|
I'm a novice at this
however I've come across a question I'd like to ask, after trying to attempt to figure it out on own.
I have used this product
http://www.imvu.com/shop/product.php?products_id=7768077
Fashioned a head
and I wish to take the head made and upload it to this product
http://www.imvu.com/shop/product.php?products_id=11089880
I can get the head into the program but it's much to large
and I understand if and when using the head mesh of DN you can scale it in client normally
but when your editing from the human furniture product and upload the head into the client creator, the head itself is giant.
From what I witnessed, there isn't a scale option for it within the human furniture mesh as there is when merely deriving a head, unless I missed it?
How would I scale the head down without losing the hair and remove the gap in the neck?
I can not run 3d max so unfortunately what I can do on client is limited
When I used the Deliverance head maker I tried scaling it all the way down to 0.16 saved loaded it in, and it was still huge. So I tried scaling it all the way to 2 in the deliverance head maker thinking to try both sides of scale. Both ways however gave me the same results when I was uploading the head into the clients creator.
Is there a way to scale the head once its in the furniture item mesh?
if so can some help me out and give clear detailed instructions as to how this might be accomplished?
thanks

I tried several times, in different ways I can possibly do with it. Only that side of the lips shows up. |
I've got the same issue |

| Deliverance wrote: | Hi!
Try this:
1) Uncheck 'Maintain Symmetry'
2) Check 'Limit Edge Distance', and set the value to 0
3) Change Material to 'Composite' so you can see what's going on better
4) Put the 'Selection Volume' to 50% (or any non-zero value).
5) Holding down the Shift key, click in turn on all the verts shown in red in the first picture below, so you have them all selected. They are basically the penultimate verts of the upper lip.
6) Change the 'Limit Edge Distance' value to 1.
7) If you now move the gizmo upward, it will separate the top lip from the bottom one, as in the second image below.
Hope this helps!
