Internet speed issues aside (I have a 'B' to both Brooklyn and San Fransisco on Pingtest.net), I guess that the IT department have tons of RAM on their machines and much available disk space... so they don't need to care about how the client may work on older computers.
And I don't even talk about the Mac version, which is a snail crawling through molasses even for US-based users. |

Of course higher versions are coming. Each new pre-release and full release is a higher version. And yes, of course sooner or later everyone will be required to update to a certain version number. This is all true of any program. |

I have updated to the absolute most recent Ver. and still cannot save outfits. My VIP expires tomorrow and I won't be renewing. This has been going on for close to 2 weeks, so I suppose I won't be spending any more credits until/unless it is resolved.

When i came on IMVU, 3 years ago .
I came in because of the pc requirements was ok for me.
Now , with all those upgrades...I have some problems with the
viewer and products.
So, what is your point of it...
Almost all the community, i said (almost) NOT everyone, are having
problems and we wont be able to log in , anymore.
Are we suppose to just look at our homepage and that,s it?
Not using the client because our pc cannot handle those upgrade?

Anyone notice their room stats going down??? Our empire had 757 people visit thus far earlier tonight when I looked.. now when I logged off it says 734...
Makes me say to myself ~"Can I get a what the holy mother is the client tokin'?" to put it kindly ;p

| IMVU is going slower...and slower..and music is playing when i mute it, and not playing properly when it is unmute. Also, I have paid for a full years worth of VIP, don't you think I should be able to keep what I paid for until my year is up? I paid to be able to whisper whenever I want. NOT to have my subscription changed on me. This is not what i paid for. I will be ending my VIP, or buying from resellers. There is also a really nice whisper add-on that I have seen used around IMVU, but I was too iffy to use it. I might try it out if I deem neccessary, I hope I don't have to download extra things for IMVU though, when it is supposed to work properly. PLEASE, listen to the people. Consider maority of our feelings. This is supposed to be a computer and user friendly place. It used to be excellent... |

Amen. IMVU use to be pretty awesome back in 2007 when I made my first account. You had lots of ways to earn free credits daily and VIP's weren't favorited. More equality back then. Less laggy as well! Now in my opinion IMVU is turning a bit greedy. I mean seriously, if you don't want any advertisements you have to get VIP. It is way harder to earn credits (to me) and the Client is ever so laggy! *sighs* I hope one day IMVU can realize what they're doing.

I notice now that I updated tonight that the client is less laggy and loads a tad bit faster... though I do freeze up from time to time it is better than yesterday....
The music I just gave up on and don't bother with.. we use live feed radios for everything..
