TIER LEVELS

DEAR VARSHA
I REALLY WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE CRITERIA FOR MOVING UP LEVELS...I HAVE BEEN CREATING FOR OVER A YEAR NOW AND IT SEEMS THAT IM STUCK ON LEVEL FOUR. OTHER PPL HAVE JUST STARTED CREATING AND THEY ARE ON LEVEL FOUR AS WELL AND EVEN HIGHER...MY SALES ARE GOOD AND MY PRODUCTS ARE GOOD...I HAVE OVER 60 PAGES OF PRODUCTS TOTALING OVER 900 PRODUCTS...ONE CREATOR I COMPARED WITH ONLY HAVE 15 PAGES OF PRODUCTS AND HIS TIER LEVEL HAS SURPASSED MINE ..AND HE HAS ONLY BEEN CREATING FOR 3 MONTHS! I DONT GET IT...I THINK THE RATING SYSTEM NEED TO BE READJUSTED...I KEEP MY VIP UP AND IM AP...I PUT MONEY INTO THIS BUT I HAVE BEEN ON LEVEL FOUR FOR MONTHS! THIS DOESN'T SEEM FAIR...IM NOT INTO THE PEER REVIEW IT TAKES TOO LONG AND PPL RATE ITEMS UNFAIRLY ANYWAYS. I DON'T DO ALOT OF FORUMS BECAUSE THERE IS NO NEED...MEANING I DON'T HAVE ALOT OF COMPLAINTS...COULD YOU PLS LOOK INTO THIS BECAUSE ITS FRUSTRATING...OH YEA I DONT STEAL OTHER PPL PRODUCTS AS SO MANY NEW DEVELOPERS DO. PLS HELP ME TO RESOLVE THIS CAUSE ITS REALLY DISCOURAGING

Everyones tiers are calculated the same way, it is not a bug and many developers are stuck on tier level 4. The reasons why some creators get pro very fast is because they make new meshes that others derive from or because their products are very good and they market them a lot and sometimes because they gift their own products. Having a lot of products also does not give you the right to be PRO, it depends on the products themselves not on how many you have them.

Even though it can be frustrating to be stuck on tier level 4 it is not really the most important thing to be worried about. Tier level does not give you any actual advantage in sales and the thing that really matters is how much your products sell and how much you earn from it. You should rather be worried about those things not about your tier level. There are a lot of amazing creators here that earn millions but are not PRO either.

And even though I already got much heat in another thread for saying this I must tell you that you should not use all CAPS to type on the forums because it can be considered yelling and people can consider it rude.

I would suggest working on your icons. Try to zoom in a bit closer on the clothing--you dont need heads and feet in the shot if that is not what you're selling. Icons are very important now that IMVU has shifted it's focus into the client.

well all caps are considered yelling and thats not the important thing just like bell bottoms that was back in the day...today all caps does not mean the same thing...i used all caps as i stated in the post im frustrated because what so many is failing to address is that ppl are stealing files and buying files to get pro...where it is not the most important thing to you it matters to me..so use some consideration in your posts and dont look at yourself but at the person posting the threat...to those of you that it dont matter then its not for you...but ik there are other ppl out there that are just as frustrated...and imvu is not just yours it belong to all of us...and i am a faithful customer and i dont cause no harm to anyone...and i think i deserve more respect than what yall are showing...like i said no disrespect for the all caps but i think its funny that out of that whole message thats all yall got to comment on...this is why i dont do forum posts

im not saying its a bug what im saying is its a problem...its time to revamp the system period...its not fair to the ppl that actually make their own designs..for others to steal or buy files and just upload them....or is that what its all about? is that ok with imvu? for someone to steal or buy the textures and files and upload them in the catty? for anyone to upload the same exact files? im saying yall coming down on me cause im bringing it to the table. or do yall even care that ppl are doing this as long as they paying the submission fees? hmm makes me wonder

I can agree that stealing textures and meshes has been a problem for a very long time. It is wrong and IMVU should take more action against people who steal like that. But there are many many honest creators who work hard for their sales and their status and I don't currently see anything wrong about how the tier levels are calculated because it is supposed to be hard to get PRO and that is why they are PRO creators, sure there are some that don't really deserve it but that does not change the way your tier level is calculated.

I agree with magpie that you might want to make your items that you are selling bigger on your icons so that they get all the attention and it will make people want to buy and try on your items more.

I did not try to be disrespectful or mean or rude in any ways by saying this but this is just my opinion about the tier system and everyone has the right to have that. And I also said not to use all caps because on IMVU forums it is often considered rude and as yelling.
