Upcoming Birthday Notifications on Landing Page

I have noticed that birthdays are now being displayed on my sign in landing page. I personally do not want my birthday known. Is there a way to opt out of this feature? Isn't this "Personally Identifiable Information" that should not be automatically displayed to other users without the account owner's consent? Why are we seeing this when there are so many other things that need fixing? What are you people doing?

I agree as well. I want an opt out feature. Who I tell my birthday too is my business. I did NOT put my real birthday on my imvu application so they can give out this PERSONAL information. Excuse me, but don't imvu have something called a private information policy. If they don't they better bloomin' well get one.

O_O I couldn't agree more !! There either needs to be an opt out feature, or this just simply needs to vanish. With the security fails and the other issues like hacking and all the rest of it, I have VERY serious reservations and concerns about this extreme lack of personal privacy. FIX THIS !!!

There is an opt out on your account settings page.
Look in the friend and user settings panel

yes i agree too!! i think it should be an option its kinda personal and most birthdays are not accurate 90% of the time, it should be checked on or off if the person chooses to dislplay it

I think that personal information shouldn't appear in the beginning in our landing pages and not only after changing it manually in the account setting page.
