Contest Forum

I'm just curious, how many people think there should be a separate contest only forum.

The advantages:

You would only have one place to check for contests.
You could see which ones you qualify for quicker.

The disadvantages:

One more IMVU forum.

I vote aye.

Pros:
Keeps contests out of Miscellany.
Makes it easier to find contests.
Easier to keep a track of all the contests going on.

Cons:
New people post contests here without reading, though that is with every forum.
Off topic posts in the Contests forum.
Need to find new mods for that forum.

Pros outweigh cons.

That is a wonderful idea would save me a lot of time posting my contests in several areas.

I would love to have to only post my contest in one place and be done with it. Rather then have 3 diff places to reply to lol.

I think this is a good idea. It may get some people involved in forums who weren't before, since so many people are after sources of free credits.

It would keep current contests mostly on the first page and give them more air time.

They would be umpteen times easier to moderate if a forum-specific mod was used to looking at contests and only contests and watching for danger signs.

buth, if you have a lot of contests, you ll have a lot of bumping too...

I agree too! But there's prolly gonna be more scammers too, so maybe we could have a way to filter them out?

True, we're gonna have one more forum in the imvu forums but at least its organized just for Contests.

I agree with Auzruto. You'd have to find new mods for that forum. Which is probably gonna take days for imvu to appoint the new mods.

But then again, this idea has been suggested throughout misc forums for ages x] FINALLY a mod decides its a good idea too ;D I think the whole of misc loves you now xD

The only thing you'll have to be aware of is that people prefer posting in Misc. instead of the designated forum sections because they know the people here and see that there's a lot more users to reply to each thread. It could take a lot of mod work, but I see no problem with it happening ^-^ I support.
