I send thank you messages to customers whenever I make a sale. However today 3 of 6 messages I sent would not go through because it said This person has BLOCKED ME. I don't know these people, I checked their name changes and they are people I have never met. This HAS to be a glitch. Is anyone else getting this issue? Question

I do the same and so far out of the 20 or so people, 3 have me blocked. I have also checked their name changes and I don't know them. It happened to a friend of mine as well that got the same customer and also had her blocked.

I also believe is some sort of glitch.

Yes I have also noticed this! I tried to message a person whom bought a product from me, but it says I was blocked. There is some sort of glitch... maybe has to do with all the new VIP perks/././././.?

I don't know WHAT it is - but actually I am also 'blocked' without any reason by users I don't even know and never met in-chat (and yes, I checked name changes).

Make no mistake, IMVU will only deal with this if we are enough to complain about it.

We are all having the same issue BUT is anyone listening ? Hard to tell. this IS under " BUG REPORTING" yet no response from IMVU staff.. SSDD right?

These are user forums. IMVU staff rarely respond in the forums and only for very widespread issues.
There is no known block bug, however if someone has ever flagged your public room, or group, or message, or pulsr, or page, you automatically go onto their block list regardless of whether or not the flag was merited.
Perhaps these people have flagged you at some point.

If more people report strange random blockings staff may look into it.

So what you are saying is that this SUDDEN RANDOM bunch of people bought products from me and BLOCKED ME AND these other 2 IMVU paying customers? ? ? Seriously is that what you are saying?
This Part of the forum is CALLED " BUG REPORTING" WHY is it called that if "Staff RARELY RESPONDS" ? I am REPORTING A BUG. And so are 2 others who noticed the same thing and we are being ignored. How many will it take to be noticed? and what if others don't notice OR don't report it because they think they are actually blocked for a reason instead of the obvious GLITCH that it is.... I am rarely in public. I have few enemies. the people who are on my blocked list are there because I don't like drama and I block it. not because i have fought with anyone.. There is no reason for my rooms to be flagged they are all legal.. and as i said THIS IS SUDDEN NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE THEN 3 In 1 DAY? Seriously I DON'T KNOW WHY I EVEN BOTHER>> Im un following this STUPID POST AND WILL >>> N E V E R <<<< POST AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree that the amount of coincidences needed for those who reported this issue to be blocked by users unknown to them (except that most of them were customers) has to be rather high.

In other words, it is *possible* but *very unlikely* from my point of view.

Sadly this is not the way IMVU think - they want to reproduce the issue.

it happened to me too, today. trying to write a thanks message but the user (in this case my customer) has blocked me. i never heard that name and although i had a quite large block list in the past i could tell of everyone on there why they were on that list.
i also looked at name changes, but still, no clue.

if it was someone who flagged me, i think i'd have to have been in violation of terms of service in one way or the other, but i never had any warnings or complaints.
other than that, a lot of random flaggers that show up at beginning of june?

I think mostly the reason why it is not being reported is cause MOST of our imvu creators DO NOT give thank you notes. I began giving thank you notes since I started creating and I haven't stopped even as I grew in levels. I will always give my thank you's even if it takes me long to do since the messages just stack up.

I have bought from other creators before on rage buys and have gotten zero to one thank you note back. It is THOSE that I do leave a review for.

So it won't grow in numbers to being reported as to who is getting this.

Other creators might not even bother reporting due to being such a small creating person that they don't see why bother with it.

I agree.. we are the few who do thank our customers. I try to thank every customer with a note and my 2 badges. it takes time but I am honored by every sale. I was actually upset when I couldn't thank the customers who were showing as blocking me because I knew they had not blocked me and deserved a thanks.. I sent the badges anyway. Its one thing if they have chosen to not receive messages its another when it's a glitch.

Yes, precisely Leona. There is no real reason for a customer to flag us one day and the next actually support our work with credits instead of using just predits.
