Ideas to Improve VIP for creators

I am thinking we need to quit fighting with IMVU, we like being here, we enjoy our friends and making what we want, and sharing these things with others.
So keep it simple
dont complain
give solid ideas

on what VIP could be to have us rush to invest our cash into purchasing it. Then everyone would be happy.

What would you like to see in VIP?

Positive VIP ideas
Let some one tie multiple acounts under 1 vip and have credits paid into 1 acount (should help after grandfathering poofs )

Give Vip more exclusive poses and other junk (bring back talking)

Have Vip tiers -gold -silver - bronze - platinum then do away with developer tiers (pay more for platinum but it gives you everything a developer could ever want )

Let Vip spend tokens on special things (zero cost developing)

Let Vip advertise in popups on imvu web pages

Give Vip developers a ombudsman to talk to IMVU when things go bad (staff)

Let Vip have portals (to join there 20 rooms)

Well it allows you to create, so that's the single biggest advantage to me, I don't really care what other features it has actually.. I like to make things for here. The extra rooms are good but I only need that on one account, however I like to develop on that to.. so its an added bonus in reality.

As an idea I think that Paypal should be removed as a payment option when used for developing, as with the ability to buy for more than say 3 months. Allowing VIP to be purchased for a year and with Paypal is just setting yourself up for trouble. Same with prepaid options..

To include the developing component of VIP, I think it should be by bank issued credit card only and on a monthly basis. So I guess thats the main change I would like to see.

The one thing I don't like about VIP is the free gifts. I never like them and I think that when you sign up for VIP you should be asked: "what theme of gifts would you like?" I would select the "Vintage" option, some-else might select the "Gothic" option etc etc.

I disagree with credit card payments only as I don't have one, lol. I think you should pay with money you really own not borrowed money. Paypal is troublesome I agree. What's wrong with a direct debit?

I'd also like to be able to use my promos either as VIP or not as they're just building up and I'm never gonna be able to use them.

I hope that VIP is much better when should the time come that I have to buy it Smile

But tbh it is funny how this discussion plops up after a change, before creators did not care about the vip things really and those who had bought it, had it cause of the features vip already had. So why starting it out now?
You did not get anything special for registering name as well, just the ability to create. Now you pay a monthly fee and are able to create like before but you have other monthly things which come along with it.

Paintprogram? Really I mean hello, Gimp and whatever tools you can use are for free, even 3d meshing software like Blender, so why use something Imvu internal. Make it easier for all those copy and paste devs, who just find a texture in google and throw it on something, complaining that they get a dmca filled? Eeh no Smile

I think it is nice as it is, developing needs some patience and some engagement, it should not be too easy as the economy and market would flip fullly.
In my eyes it is easy and lowcost enough atm, in other 3d worlds you are paying like a mad chicken just to start.

I would like staff to post what exactly VIP will be offering now and if there are any additions or changes made to what is now being offered for VIP members. Also I don't agree on changing methods of paying I think there should be more added so many can decide if they would like VIP, taking out any payment options will hinder many from buying VIP. I think it only fair to try to give everyone every possible option not only to entice but to decide if to buy VIP or not and having many payment options will just help not hinder.

Honestly, VIP is alot different compared to the newest users and what they get. I have a new guest account (not even a month old) and compared to what we use to get... they get minimal. like 2 moods, 2 actions, it's alot different now for noobs. I think they think it is an entisement to be VIP, and well... it is. If I wanted to create on that account I would probably enjoy the upgrade alot. But for accounts that have the gold pass there isnt much difference yet.

I don't really care for VIP.. they push it on creators just to scqqueeze yet another dollar for them. I wish they could do something to make it more worthwhile like incentives such as perhaps something to do with dev tokens or promo credits since they are the most useless thing on the planet. VIP's only incentive to me to even consider buying it is the ability to have 10 rooms open. the rest to me seems like alot of really pointless garbage. A few useless avatar actions that aren't really used.. whispers (if its that important or private that you don't want others to hear, just use a Private Chat, and its not as rude) crappy gifts that most people never use, just hide in their inventory, 5k credits (which can be bought from most credit re-sellers $2.60) and occasional 'discounts' of 5-10% at best in shop.. why the hell would i pay for that? sounds like a waste of money, but thats just my opinion Cool
