Recently Noticed I've been charged to edit

I apologize if this has been answered r if someone can direct me to the right thread - I found numerous thread pertaining to my situation and question but none seem to answer nor solve the problem.

While working on some creations and pics - i decided to go back through my catty to take pics of items that i had not submitted (over 30 items) - however in doing so i noticed that my fit was disapppearing so iedited the items and submited them back - keep in mind the items had NOT been submitted to the PR. I have been charged for each item i uploaded again and this is the FIRST that Ive noticed it - I actually caught it in the corner of my eye while switching back to the web page.

The threads Ive viewed and read r out of date and uploading versions dated back in sept of 2011; which had been changed since then - if i remember right I have the latest recent one they just came out w -

I found ONE that was this month and year and her's had not been answered yet..

so here's my questions.

Is this a glitch IMVU is having again?
- Will our credits be submitted back to us?
- Why are we being charged again? if the item had already been submitted once, THIS was not a ly created item.. It was one that had already been in the catty.
- Is there anyone else out there having this =SAME prob as me - and just havent paid attention?
-What is the need to offer us the edit mode for the products if we cant go back in to add, chnge something on the items r clothing?

Now, Im not clearly understanding but it would be helpful to me if someone could direct me in the right location(direction) to getting this resolved. Its bad enough we have to spend soo much to create when we're below the 5 tier level. Just stating - please help because im soo lost and loosing all those credits just to edit is a hit - being that we have to wait on our pending credits to clear after a number of days for our safety - which im fine w it and fully agree..
I dont mean to ruffle anyone feathers it would be nice if we could get those credits back after spending soo much to help out IMVU in staying a float.

When you are editing your items are you hitting SAVE or save as. If you are doing 'save as' this will be treated as a new item and not an edit. Also make sure you are using the 'Edit My Product' link from the web page or in CM.

Im clicking save and then upload, ok and yes im using Edit Product - so why is it charging for my editing?

Are you using the product override option when uploading?? If so this is the reason you are charged for a editing of a item.

No im not using the over ride - Im going thru the edit product button of each item at the bottom left center, i have never used override and i dont think i have an option to click..

The product over ride exists on the submission page not when you are clicking to edit the product it is there when you are uploading the product.

I have heard of other users with the same situation just this week, pretty sure you are not the only one, but only a few people noticed the issue

I think this is happening to me. I just edited a few things, used the edit product link on the product page then save and upload (no save as, no product override), and each time my credit balance went down.

Oh nevermind I just realised what is going on - the credit balance on the client screen includes promos.

Check your credit balance log. Look for the charges and file a Help Ticket.

If you are using Edit Product (from the page or the Create Mode tab) and not using the Override and are not using Save As, you should not be getting charged.

Only your credit balance log will be able to confirm that though.

Might be an idea to include your client version as well.
