Have you tried uninstalling it, running virus checks and the defragging it before reinstalling it? That might help.

Also, it could be a graphics issue if you have an older computer and/or graphics card, as it's a bit graphic intensive.

It may well be the version of the client you are using has become unstable and it's nothing to do with your computer. Go to the download centre here and update your client to the latest version and see if that fixes the issue. Keep trying different versions of the client until you find on that works for you.

There are 2 options you can do either 1. uninstall IMVU and re-download it or 2. Clear you IMVU cache buy going to setting in the 3d chat, click advance and Clear IMVU cache.

Another thing that might help is to use sandboxie - it's good when you try a lot of versions or frequently uninstall because it install inside the sandbox instead of your machine. Empty sandbox (after saving the files you want to keep to your own folder) and voila, neat clean and simple. Wink

Try uninstalling, and downloading a fresh copy. See if that works.

Lovely have you just recently put on or updated your antivirus or has it expired. Some of these will affect your client working right. And some will, once expired, start blocking stuff from working properly or not at all.

Try clearing out all the stuff you don't use in your add/remove options in control panel. I have to clear mine out alot because Imvu eats up alot of space when its on hun.

Just refurb your whole comp and you should be alright.
