So! Canon items in rooms and rp. ^-^ Any fun ones? Tell us your sneaky references to other shows, movies, and things like that that you do, or have your character own.
((Drac, I am sure you have a few! ^-^))
Maybe have your character go through their pockets, and then throw away a toy elf looking thing, in a starfleet uniform. "Captain spock, why are you in my pocket?" *throw*
Or, you know, some such vague refenerences. ^^
Of course, if you are playing canon characters, I mostly eman canon items that aren't a part of the story you are playing. >.< |

For a while I habitually placed a large furniture cat in every room I made. Now if you look carefully every room I have has at least one skull, this is the skull of the ghost I play, Bob, who originally came from the TV show version of The Dresden Files.
Also in vintage village, the gypsy camp is from The Wolfman, the phonograph is Quentin Collins' phonograph from Dark Shadows, the vampire hunting kit belongs to Professor Abraham Van Helsing, the skull is Bob's from The Dresden Files, The Frankenstein creature is in there somewhere. Dracula's painting (with three female vampires that are commonly called "His brides" even though they're never called that in the novel) is hanging up along with Dorian Gray's, there's a Sherlock Holmes sign, a Dr. Jekyll MD sign from The Strange case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, a sign for Scrooge and Marley from A Christmas Carol, there's a hidden chained coffin belonging to Barnabas Collins from Dark Shadows (though he's not currently in it). And at the threatre you will see posters for productions of Jekyll and Hyde, Dracula, and Phantom of the Opera. These are all little nods to characters who were either popular in the Victorian era or canonically existed in the Victorian era within their stories. I also mention Dr. Sewart's Sanitarium, Carfax, and Castle Dracula from the novel Dracula, and I imply that Captain Gregg from The Ghost and Mrs. Muir is buried in the cemetery.
I don't like to rip down the fourth wall so I'll only make reference to characters who would have actually been around in the Victorian era. _________________

| It's so sweet to give little nods to eachother in this way. I wonder if people ever do it in memory of roleplayers, that no longer go to said rooms anymore? |
