When you see a bit of red of the mcg skin on the product, even if it's only a few red 1px pixels here and there, I skip the product, but what do you do, flag it or skip it? _________________

You do PR? I thought it was only bots that do it now.
Considering there are a ton of threads over the last 24 hours, I'd be even more hesitant to flag/fail an item if it's like 1 pixel on the avatar's legs. _________________

At the moment I'm not touching any flags until the problems are sorted. _________________

As of now, you should probably send the link to a mod so that IMVU can collect more data on the fact that they broke the MCG. However, I would think that if it's currently IN pr, then it would be exempt from being this problem because it should have been checked before it was published.
That's a tough call. _________________ "Thank you for your time. We look forward to delighting you in the future." -IMVU Inc.

Skip
Because if you rate it as violating MCG, chances are all the bots will mark it as pass. And most of the times, they just pass because no one checked, giving you a bad rating, and before you know it you are auto-banned from PR, not worth the time for 5 PROMO CREDITS.
Then when you send a help ticket, spending minutes typing fancy paragraphs up explaining why you got auto-banned for casting the right vote, you will be most likely to be told to boo hoo.
As for sending a message to IMVU or mod to ask for clarification... think about the time cost, all for 5 promo, and a digit that goes away after 3 month, is it worth it?
Leave it to the rating zealots. Skipping isn't a violation
*add- yes it's 10 promo per vote
Sorry I gave up on PR a while ago because of the failing votes so couldn't really remember how much was given lol _________________

I thought it was 10 promo credits?
That is a tough call. At this point in time, I would skip it myself. I actually stopped doing PR this month altogether, because I was failing UFI products, and then getting told my votes were incorrect - I racked up a ton of those so I finally said F it. _________________

@ the OP: normally I would say flag the item but with what others have said about ga items suddenly going AP in this, I would either skip and send the PID to a mod like Scartlet said, pass it if it is only a very small area, but fail it if it's a huge area as that won't be the problem people are having right now. _________________

I would flag regardless of imvu's problems. Isn't it better to get pulled up in pr for a few red dots than waiting until it's through and bought by the masses and then pulled up for the red dots & being banned and going broke.
We all wish our stuffies get through pr quickly and with out incident but I know I would rather it happen at the pr level. ^_^ _________________

If the bug 'does' get rectified, those failed products would eventually become a pass, but the creator AND the customers who brought it will be hit, and it will be painstaking for them to get their product back and running, if you have ever filed rerate app to counter grief flags, you will know the effort involved, especially for those devs who are generating regular credit incomes from referred sales, in a communal sense, dont screw other people's lives up by failing it because of the compression issue

@ Flisey: Yeah that's good advice, and maybe it will alert some people to the problem who aren't aware of it. They could be using a mesh or opacity they've used before and not think to check it. _________________

I was doing PR and seen this as well so I just decided to stop doing PR and hit the forums and find out if there were any changes, look for any threads. But it has always been the norm or so I thought, any red any at all even a 1x1 pixel showing is a fail period. But after reading the threads I think I will just wait to see what new answer or old answer or no answer is given by staff on the subject. Most likely there should be an official response later than sooner. As one said let the bots do it then until staff can clarify. _________________ Bling Me!

Minor stuff I skip. The system is so flawed I refuse to participate until it is fixed.
AP or UFI in GA is the only thing I bother to flag now. Flagging anything else is a waste of my time. |
