I've seen several stolen items. Skins seems to be a big one from the dev's i regularly shop and I see them stolen ALOT i check to make sure that it's not a derivation and such but there genuinely stolen. I would propose to have the option to enter in stolen product and have a box to put in the real Dev's name. Might save imvu alot of time and the devs too as reporting link after link after link to the developer could tie up there time a bit in having to constantly have to report the stolen goods themselves. _________________ those that know the most know they know nothing at all. |

Which will achieve nothing since IMVU has to abide by the DMCA process which requires that the original creator be the one to file any such report by law. _________________

Again the owner of said copyright has to be the one to file a report and take action or their legally appointed representative. _________________

If the product is a zero change derive then it is allowed by IMVU because the original dev gets paid.
If it is a stolen texture, only the copyright holder can file a complaint of copyright theft. _________________
