Visiting homepage

So, I have a question. I visited this guy's homepage who I'm no longer friends with just because. Idrk why I visit his page actually, I guess it's because of what he did I secretly wish his life would be miserable or something and he would portray that on his page LOL.
No, idk. But anyways, I visit people's pages a lot, even if I repeatedly do so because.. that's pretty much what I do when I'm on IMVU. Since I don't have the client anymore, and I'm only doing GASR orders. So, without realizing it I'd pretty much visit the same people's homepages. Like my friends', and a few other people, like Alexu and this guy whose avi name is Fork.. whenever I visited his page I'd start randomly typing random objects name in LOL.. like Spoon.. Plate... Cloth.. etc etc. Yeah, anyways.
He got upset and called me a stalker. I'm not sure what exactly the definition of stalker is anymore since whenever I visit I only stay for .. what, two seconds? Cuz his page was private before and it only had a boring mixpod so I'll be like "meh", and go to some other people's homepage.
When I visited his page yesterday, it actually had something on it. But it's ridiculously obnoxious as he said something like he's the best person in the world so I didn't bother reading his other tabs etc.
Another reason why I visited his page was because of his first text warning LOL. He called me a creep and told me to stop visiting his page. He even said "thanks bitch" when I said "okay". Such nice phrase.
But yeah, after I visited his page he sent me 5 text messages.. and in one of them he told me no one likes me, I'm pathetic, and that if I died no one would miss me so I might as well just kill myself.
I find it hilarious but a few of my friends think that's a little too much.

SO. I need your opinion. Is it wrong for me to visit people's homepages? Even if it's just a little bit too much? Because my friend told me it's my right to visit, it doesn't really matter how much I visit the page.
And, is it a little over the top for him to send me something like that?

Back to the past, I deleted his number since months ago, for Heaven's sake and he told me to move on when he still have all my contact information. Hypocritical? I don't know, you tell me. Seriously. Opinions needed.

All this people taking simple things like Homepage Visiting way too seriously is hilarious LOL. Because I could totally capslock him to death and affect his life by visiting his homepage.

Homepages are there for the public and are meant for public access. If he doesn't want anyone to see anything, then he can just set it all to private. Anyone can visit anyone else's page as much as they want to and it doesn't have to mean anything. Some people just like to look around for people with unique names, for example, and just check out whatever cool stuff they might have on their page. People like to do that with developers and just randoms, too. Or maybe they're bored and just trying to find people with similar interests or just page hopping for no reason. And sometimes people just forget they've been to this person's page and just visit it again! Hell, I've done that. Especially if the person changes their name a lot, you can stumble upon them and just not remember.

The point of homepages is to visit them - if he has a problem with that, he can either keep everything private or just get off of IMVU.

First of all, you'll have to remove his avatar name from your post as naming in a negative light is not allowed on the forums.

But anyway, In my opinion there's nothing wrong with visiting the pages of people you find interesting, I'm pretty sure that's why people have homepages. Unfortunately IMVU is filled with these pathetic drama llamas who clearly have nothing better to do than keep tabs on all their visitors, throw accusations around and stir crap. Him messaging you after all that time seems pathetic. I'd just ignore him and stop visiting his page, maybe block his number too if he's bothering you by text.

I don't mind people visiting my page.
What I find annoying is when they do it and do not message me or anything. It's like, "am I really that intimidating that you can't at least leave me a message?" even the generic "nice page" or whatever message is better than a silent visit.
Then when the person continues to visit my page and not leave a message, I'm like"..... //takes the initiative to start up a conversation with the person".

And people who AREN'T on my friends list anymore that visit my page make me lol.
I'm not lol'in at the fact you do it, Sonyah..buttttt yeah
Especially if the person who visits is the one who deleted you in the first place (for no just reason). I even messaged the person and they didn't reply, lolol.

But yeahhh, I'm not favorable of silent visits to my page.

I'm honestly not sure why I still bother visiting his page, I maybe seriously hope he'll burn to the ground. Or, I just love his reaction; that he literally freaks JUST because I visited ;D I personally don't care for silent visits LOL, since all my visitors does that. @_@

It's not wrong to visit homepages. I do it all the time. It's usually a way to find out more about a person whether you know a little or a lot about them already. Depending on the way they portray themselves through their homepage, you can get an vague idea of what the person might actually be like and if you want to find out more about the person and even befriend them.

Frankly I kinda like it when someone pays a visit to my page after I've visted their page. It shows they might be a little curious about me and I feel more confident about starting up a conversation. xD

I have friends and even people who I don't know who visit my page often too, and I don't really mind. Someone might actually be taking the time to read the stuff I wrote about myself, and I'm perfectly fine with that. I didn't code all those pages just for my own satisfaction. It's for others to know a little about me before they just randomly say hi. We could have some things to talk about first so that it's not somewhat awkward. Smile

It is a bit too much to be telling you off like that. I wouldn't say that to anyone even if I really didn't like them. :/ I honestly think you should just ignore whatever he says. If you want to visit his page, go ahead. If he's gonna throw empty threats at you, then just ignore it. You have a right to visit anyone's page.

@EmpatheticSoul - LOLTHISISSOWEIRD. You think the exact way as me. I like visiting people's pages to read what they write, and then when they visit mine I'm all happy and shet cuz, like you said, it means they might be interested in me etc etc :'D
