Happy Birthday to IMVU again  ...but it seems that we are already passed the due date of April 1st and seems IMVU is out of time to reach the highly anticipated goal of 250k unique product purchases by the community. Well 213k aren't bad either , better luck next time

I've been on here for years. The thing I was angry about was that IMVU doesn't help its members. I'm not the only one who feels this way. Help tickets go unanswered for who knows how long. I like the community, I'm just trying to get more help to the people who need it. |

Hey, sorry if I sounded harsh. That reaction was a result of understanding how deep these issues go in IMVU as a company. The issue is with their philosophy of using customers for guinea pigs, which works for a majority. One of my friends call it the art of online sheep herding. It's not an original idea of IMVU, but they mastered it well and took it to such an extreme, that they are now sort of considered the wizards at that in the industry.
Knowing that, I don't think any sort of protest against IMVU is going to work as far as there is not a real competitor in the same space. One might say that there are other online virtual worlds, but IMVU's space is a very restricted niche in virtual worlds, the competitors for which are still lagging by miles, or even light-years.

this could be a very interresting website metaverse but IMVU is really planting to make $$$ with customers as you call them ( pigs) 
true, but IMVU is using creators to do so and no ones seems to care 
nobody remember this

Thing is that right now, at least some developers are in a bad marriage with IMVU. They have 3 options:
1. Find love elsewhere but you need another girl for that
2. Get a divorce and stay single
3. Hope for a better tomorrow and get whatever you can in the meantime.
4. Keep whining and get whatever you can while you can
But most of us don't want to be single, so we can't go for first two options, there's no other girl in the vicinity. That's why almost all the devs in forums fall into either category 3 or 4
However, it's also sad that people expect IMVU to be thinking about individual devs in every situation. They can't do that, they have to think of the whole community of developers when they implement changes.
Yes, they are exploiting the fact that they're the only girl in town, but that in itself could be the reason why they are still out there. I think a totally annoying IMVU is better than a non-existing one, or else I'll be making a few bucks less each month. In a way I'm saying thank you IMVU, but I still hate you!

IMVU changes >>> Creators were VERY happy about it,

Be careful what you wish for!
If IMVU was perfect, and every loop hole was sorted out.. developing wise on here we may as well all walk away.
Because this site would be over run by 3d developing companies, take away our glitched barriers, welcome in the companies and wave good bye to individualism.

All I have to say is my sales have plummeted since the introduction of pended credits I wish I knew what the deal was. I seriously think I'm being ripped off.

I agree,my main account lost 50 percent of it's sales as soon as this was introduced =/
