I don't think so, I definitely saw an increase in sales for myself. In comparison to the average for the past few weeks I'd say about 50% more.
Also I have taken this opportunity to make my friends smile with some lovely gifts, been able to gift some products made by friends, and have also received a lot of gifts myself. Plus I did some serious shopping myself (who cares if I do this today or on another so why the hell not make it serve another purpose as well).
Even if they don't get the record, I'm happy, t was a good day for IMVU's economy in my opinion, which is good for us all. _________________

Not a single sale here today
I'm not even surprized, thought I might get a few... but none, well that's usual unless IMVU is messing up with my sales. _________________ |

Sorry to hear that...
I could give you a few reasons why though. Your catalog consists for the bigger part of hair, which is the single most hard category to obtain a sale in. Every hair being thrown out in 'new hair' category it quickly gets lost in the pile. And also, your icons are functional, but they don't pop. Imagine seeing your icon between the tens of thousands of other hair icons... This is all not at all meant to be mean, but simply my first impression and my way of trying to help. _________________

My sales haven't been the least bit impressive.
I've received a single gift.
Due to Credit Pend, I can't afford to gift even my OWN items (thankies for THAT, IMVU....) |

I respect your opinion about my catalog. I know it's true that it's hard to gain a sale in the hair category but I've still gotten some from my hard work. Well about half of my current catalog are hairs, rest are other parts of fursets and some funitures, I have few clothing items and they sell better than my furs do.
Maybe I need better preview of my products but I don't really know how to make animated icons. I'll learn it one day and improve the products images, until then I'll stick with the ones I have now. It may have effects on my sales but that's just me.
If I'm in luck I'll get few random sales from someone who likes my products, no matter how the look on my "beautiful" catalog icons is.
I have a chance until the timer runs out to get a sale, simple as that. _________________ |

Does anyone want to predict the final count - my guess is 263,578
Also will it stop counting at 3am EST or keep on going? _________________

The counter is going up in regular increments of 10. Looks so fake. _________________
