Here's one I just got. I removed the link.

"Hi , probably you don't know me but there's something you need to know about your gf , I'd prefer to keep my identity a secret (thats why i just created this account) as I'm a friend of your GF and I don't want any hard feelings after what I'm about to tell you. She's a member of this dating site and she met a guy there named (name removed). If you sign up, make a quick profile and search for (name removed) you'll find her profile with her pictures and everything , I'm her friend and all but treating you like this ain't right so..."

I've been getting these messages too the best way to stop it is set your messaging to Friends only.

I just can't believe how many people fall for this crap. I got a similar message today from http://avatars.imvu.com/Guest_IvyLonely , and just look at the comments on this person's HP.

I flagged her, and so have others, but apparently the account hasnt been deleted yet, as this "person" changed the avi to a male.

Well we can report it to IMVU via Help tickets and sooner or later the account will be deleted.

Personally I think IMVU should ban the person's IP address because what's stopping the person from creating another account and spamming everyone again with what seems to be cookie URL sites which can hack your computer via the internet if you aren't careful.
