Avatar Vertices Selection Help

I have a problem about creating an Avatar on 3d max

Using new avatar mesh and bones of IMVU avatar

the head is the easiest part because i select all vertices and link them by physique to upper bone

but when i tried to link the vertices in arm for example or shoulders

it's very hard to me to select certain vertices and to link them to bone , and in the same time selecting the other vertices as continue and linking them
to other bones

the problem is when i finisihed that , i tried to rotate the bone in shoulder
and the result was very bad !

IMVU avatar vertices are well linked to their bones , that's why when i rotate the shoulder , everything is alright

Is there any other easy way to make the avatar and to link it to IMVU Avatar bones ?

the easy way is if you take your model and this company in the net do the rigging for you.
is not free and I can`t remember what is the name or link of the place but is out there i found it like a year ago looking for animation tutorials.
they even physique cloths and animated the model for you , sure it cost extra.
there is a max script too that you can apply physique to one side of the avatar and copy the values to the other side , it save you time.
but the link I have of the place whit the tutorial and link from where you dl the script or program was taken down about 2 years ago, it got infested whit lots of Trojans.
but they are out there or maybe some one have them and can give you the links.
