IMVU Gift Wrap Submission: April 1 - June 30 Closed

Gift Wrap submission for the April 1 - June 30, 2012 season is open!

This is your chance to submit your high-quality work for the entire IMVU community and get exposure as a Creator. Selected gift wrap will be visible to all IMVU users when they send gifts. Significant amounts of users send gifts daily, so this is a great opportunity to get your name out there in the IMVU world!

We will choose one "default" gift wrap and 15-25 "regular" gift wrap spots. The "default" gift wrap spot [see image below] will be the very first image users see when sending a gift; the "regular" gift wrap spots are randomly placed in the gift wrap selection. The gift wrap images will remain in their randomized spots during the gift wrap period.

Below is an example of what the "default" spot looks like:

Selection criteria:

--Must be your own original work; any copyrighted material is automatically disqualified
--Must be General Audience
--File format must be .jpg or .gif [animated is fine]
--File size must be 40 kb or less
--Image size must be 198x123 pixels
--Images must be high quality work

Type of gift wrap to submit:

--Fun, simple, very IMVU!
--Main themes: birthday, wedding, romance, fashion, urban, anime, punk, goth, emo, etc.
--Optional themes: spring/summer theme, Mother's Day, Father's Day, etc.

Cost

Submitting gift wrap is free, and you can submit as many as you want; we will not deduct any credits from your account unless your submission is selected.

Cost if your submission is selected:

--Default position cost: 200,000 credits
--Regular, randomized position cost: 100,000 credits
--Dev Token cost: You can either use 10,000 dev tokens to pay for a regular gift wrap position; 20,000 dev tokens for the default position; OR a combination of credits and dev tokens. Please note that 1 dev token = 10 credits. In your email, please indicate if you would like to pay in dev tokens, and if so, how many.

Submission info

--Email your gift wrap image as an attachment to giftwrap@imvu.com
--Include the following in your email:
● IMVU avatar name
● title of your gift wrap
● indicate if you want your gift wrap to be considered for the default spot or a regular spot
● indicate whether you want to pay in credits, dev tokens, or a combination of the two

Gift Wrap Timeline

--Submission begins Thursday, March 15 and ends Thursday, March 29.
--You will receive an email from us by Friday, March 30 stating whether or not your submission was chosen
--The current gift wrap will be replaced by the new gift wrap on April 1st

Lestat: you will see the name and title of each gift wrap when you click on them. The 'special' part of the default wrap is that it is first in the gift wrap selection tool.

I apologize for asking but the way; it is displayed in your example, is not the way it works right now. So is there is a change back to the *old way* of showing the gift wrap and it's creator? ... Was what I am asking....

The text will not change. The only portion of the gift wrap tool that will change will be the images themselves.
