IMVU won't open, please help!

I updated my Imvu last week, and It completely stopped working. I then continued to uninstall and reinstall imvu, and it still wasn't working. I keep trying to uninstall and reinstall it, but nothing is working. It keeps saying that its corrupt, or there's an error. I unblocked IMVU from my firewall, then uninstalled it. I then reinstalled it and made sure it was still unblocked. I also made sure it was up to date. I clicked on the icon and the cursor shows its loading, but then it just doesn't pop up. I'm getting worried because I put a lot of money into this.

Please help!

I have been having the exact same issue. I click on IMVU and it just sits in the hidden part of the task-bar. I'm going to try clearing my cache and re booting my computer. Seems like a last resort for me :/
This bug has been bothering me quite some time now...I think the issue has to do with the routers, It appears all those who are successful at running the latest version of IMVU are directly connected and don't have to log in all the time. So, all i can say is to try that. I hope it works because it looks like its your last resort... as well as mine. Just erks me at the lack of effort that IMVU gives its PAYING customers.

FIRST I CLICK RUN IMVU THEN IT LOADS THEN OPENS THEN CRASHES! OVER AND OVER!!! MY GF WILL NEVER SEE ME AGAIN IF I DONT FIX THIS!

Try downloading a different version of IMVU like this one:

I've also been having this exact same problem for about a month now. I've tried the above version also and the same thing happens. Immediate crash. Neutral

Hope there's some sort of solution out there.

Have you cleaned out your IMVU cache?

Is there anything that could be blocking the connection such as parental controls, firewalls, anti-viruses and alike?

my boy friend will never see me again --_-- i try to open my imvu but it says i have typed the wrong username or password then i make another account and i look up my old one and after my name it says disabled 920948! PLEASE HELP Evil or Very Mad

I have been having the Same Problem. But When I click on it; it says "IMVU has Crashed would you like to restart IMVU?" I Click Yes and it does nothing but bring up the same things. IF I don't get on my Husband will never see me again. Q.Q

I've been having the same problem, everytime I try to change it shows the loading cursor, then it never pops up. It won't even work when I'm trying to search something. Evil or Very Mad

I will never see my boyfriend again if this keeps up. I tried all the things you did, nothing. Urghhh.....

and what make's it worse is imvu really don't give a *** if it works or not
