Difficulty-as easy as it gets

Theres one tutorial Ive been dying to see.
You know how you always see 2 or 3 part hairs?
I want a tutorial on how to make each part of the hair layerable.
Because when I attempted to do a 3 part hair, I couldnt because I didnt know how to make some parts layerable.
Thank you so much. |

it does not really require a tutorial as far as I know you can make any hair layerable you have to change the id's so it is female and male compatible first (pretty sure) I never done it. You also have to change the values of the hair so it acts like an accessory rather then a hair. It takes some playing with to find the right numbers.
I asked a dev friend on this hope it helps.
If not I might have to open previewer and try to figure it out and psot a picture tut. _________________ ~Just because you say it doesn't make it true ~

Loving your texture tutorials. I have been perusing them and learning a lot.
I am still having an issue getting my gems or jewelery to get that Super sparkle glitter effects even with animation on.. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
~hugs |
I asked for an example from someone before but no one gave me one if you give me an example I can probably do that tut tonight depending on what you are referring to. _________________ ~Just because you say it doesn't make it true ~

Making a simple sparkling jewelry texture
Refer to tools section on post 2
Now people always seem to ask "how do you get your jewelry to animate or move as sparkles and when they show me the examples it's really just an eye illusion. Follow these simple steps for the sparkling jewelry
Step 1.
Open a 256X256 canvas and paint it white
Step 2.
Go to filter>noise and adjust your settings to match mine
(You can use whatever you like though)
Step 3.
Your texture should look like this
and result on a mesh
enjoy hope this helped _________________ ~Just because you say it doesn't make it true ~

If you mean developing texture, we don't developing it in create mode but using other software such as gimp, photoshop or else. In the create mode you just insert the texture you made from those software and apply changes to see the result.
