I'm wanting to make an accessory mesh all on my own Very Happy

Only problem is, I don't know how to mesh!

I've downloaded Blender before and I didn't know how to do anything xD

I was wondering if anyone could point me to a detailed tutorial on how to build an accessory mesh for any part of an avatar, using Blender or any other free programs that are compatible with IMVU and can do this.

not even whit max.. you`ll have a hard time finding tutorials where the accessory / mesh was made to use whit the imvu avatar.
and if you find them they are examples not what you want to do.
or every one will have the same mesh on imvu.
those are just to help whit the steps to upload your own mesh.
what you do is to learn to use the program and read many tutorials you can.
none of them has to do whit imvu.
when you are able to use the program then you can try to make a low poly version of the mesh you have learn or make your own and make it fit for the imvu avatar.
my first bracelet mesh took me around 3 moths of reading tutorials and like one week to make it work for imvu.
some pp learn faster one of my problems was, English is not my native language and have to learn max terminology.

Here is the link to the Blender group. Sorry I don't have more detailed help, but this group wb a good place to start. (Join the group, and see the thread called "Blender Creator Resources", perhaps.)

There is an option inside the system, options to look at the controls. (Can't tell ya where but I have something easier.) Use youtube to learn the blender version. Don't forget to take notes by making a word document. Treat it as if it is a lesson. If any further questions I'm sure it will help you. But out of advisement they won't show how you can set up a product for IMVU. That ya have to ask the experts over how to connect the item or use the site from blender. I wish ya luck on becoming a good mesher. That depends on the version of blender ya using.
