all the hours and credits she will use to redo her stuff plus the time for all developer that WE have derived ...I think the prices need to stay like before this... and if you really want to put lower price stuff ... all those hours that you need to redo all you`re stuff .. use it, to make new ones.... to hide these items and make them cheaper do not help anyone of the developer that we have derived ...
3.a - Developer Behavior
Although we recognize many IMVU developers are teens, we expect all Developers to make a substantial effort to conduct themselves professionally whenever referencing IMVU. This applies to spaces wtihin the IMVU community and without. More importantly, Professional Developers must recognize that their actions and content are visible and have an effect on the community and the IMVU brand.
If a Professional Developer performs any of the actions below, IMVU reserves the right to remove all of that person's Developer privileges and even to remove that account from IMVU entirely.
1 - Any violation of the IMVU Terms of Service.
2 - Verified Copyright Violation In Accordance With the DMCA.
3 - Verified Trademark violation.
4 - Repeatedly submitting access pass or unsuitable for IMVU content to the general audience catalog area.
5 - Verified non-competitive or abusive behavior on IMVU forums or Catalog.
6 - Verified non-competitive or abusive behavior toward other IMVU community members on any website.
Does this apply?
who verifies anyway?

edited to add: Malohroquii.....i guess i would request it for the original since it was over-priced (obviously) in the first place.....
sure lowering prices might help....but my items derived from ACS haven't sold and i truly believe it was the high prices that caused it...BUT i never was too concerned until NOW....
i feel this is a horrible marketing strategy....Anshe...sorry sugar...but you are making a bad decision IMHO.... _________________

hmmm, maybe there is a way around this, after Anshe is done, we can resubmit our products, which cost us nothing to do, using the newly submitted products from Anshe, Im not sure but I think that will work. That would mean more work for all of us, but shes doing it so I guess I can too. _________________
So you are going to try and get them to derive from it again? and collect more derivation fees?
I have never derived from you Anshe but if I had, and you hid my product and re submitted it at a lower price, I would demand a refund of me derivation fee including the submission fee to imvu as well as scream from the highest mountain that you are breaking the terms of service and the terms and standards of a pro dev.
But luckily I haven't derived from you, I just feel really bad for the poor dev's starting out that will have to pay to submit again to remain competitive and if IMVU isn't going to stick up for them By God I will.

3.a Developer submissions: If, as a Developer, you purposefully submit multiple copies of the same product, all copies of that product will be disabled
It doesn't say antything about having multiple copies. It's Submitting them.
Quote:
26. Developers and Professional Developers agree further that their Developing privelages are a right granted to them by IMVU and can be taken away at any time for any TOS violation including non-competitive or abusive behavior toward other IMVU community members on *any* website.
By making lower priced copies, you are making any past submissions from your older more expensive versions unable to compete.
I'm not sure why IMVU is putting up with this. It's thier site, but I know that between the removal of the Mature items and this kind of stuff being allowed, a lot of people are looking at leaving. I'm at the point that I don't blame them. _________________

yes.. I agree again.. If we resubmit with the new one we pay another derivation price right??? just not the submitting fee.. but the derivation yes..
and I would still like to know your thoughts, like everyone else, on the text on the submitting page..
if you were to take the TOS litteraly.. you would still be submitting the product twice.. you only hid the original.. I dunno if this is a problem.. _________________ Demand Consistency for ALL devs!

- I think resubmitting does cost something.. I did it some time ago with another product.. I think resubmitting only costs something when you replace it with another product. I mean what good would it be if it didn't cost anything I were to replace a bikini mesh made by dev A with a dress mesh made by dev B... dev B would be angry for not receiving the derivation fee.. in this case it is the same dev.. but another product..
- we wouldn't have multiple copies.. but she would.. submitting another copy is against the TOS.. _________________ Demand Consistency for ALL devs!
