I have contacted IMVU because products are causing errors that shut down the client or products won't load. This is happening to clothing, furniture, rooms all products created by all Developers. I was told to update to the newest client version. That by doing so the products would load and the errors that shut the client down would stop and that products would now load. So, I downloaded the newest client version. Now no products work. The new client does not sync any animations working or not working. IMVU has been contacted again and myself and other Moderators will keep on this issue until it is resolved.

Does your avatar just stand there not moving when it should be? Does the product just stand there when it should be moving? Do you try to slap hands with another avatar yet nothing happens? This is a client issue that IMVU has caused. IMVU is constantly changing and updating their client. With each new version a new bug or issue occurs.

IMVU’s new clients are not syncing the product with the avatar. Basically the clients from versions 424.-on can’t/aren’t syncing products so animations do not work for some people. All computers are different and the new client does not work for everyone.

I’m suggesting that anyone having this issue download and install older client version. This will fix the animation issue until IMVU can deal with their problem. Only IMVU can fix this problem. This does not fix the products with errors or that will not load. Older client versions only allow products without errors and that load to work. Again...only IMVU can fix the issues.

Everyone can help by posting to the new release forum. Look for threads that start with “Release then a number” The current one is called “Release 426.0 and prereleases 426.n” Let IMVU know that your animations are not working, products are not loading, products are crashing the client. The more people that post the better.

Old client versions:

I use 422. as it has some newer features yet still allows animations to function. It does not fix products that will not load or that crash the client.

It's also being suggested by a few Developers that version 425. is the most stable for products with errors or that will not load. They say 424 and 426 do not work for them but version 425 does. It's worth trying.

The only version that will fix products with errors or that will not load is 426. which is a pickle because for some people it causes all animatons to stop syncing and working correctly.
