Many of you have undoubtably have noticed my rather large versafur collection. There's a very good reason behind this, and if you're a mesher of furry parts, then you stand to benefit. I NEED MORE QUALITY TAIL AND EAR OPTIONS!!!
When I first started creating textures for IMVU, there were very few meshes to work from, so putting together furry sets that were imaginative and different, even though I was using the same parts over and over, was a difficult task.
In recent months, I have been bookmarking every new "furry" mesh I could find, with plans to use it in a set eventually. But, as always, my requests and plans were backing up on me, I have more ideas than my limited time off allows me to create. Thus was born the idea for the versafur collection.
The versafurs are all basic skins, available in solid, spotted, or with a white belly/blaze, and right now are available in black, brown, grey and white. The ears and tails are also derived in each of the three fur patterns in the four different colors. All parts of the same color are matching and interchangeable with each other and the skins! With one skin and one pair of paws, you can collect all the matching parts and not only change looks, but also change species.
What does this mean for the unknown mesher? TONS of derivisions, at least 10+ from me as I work them into the versafur collection (and even more in the future, as I add more colors and more fur patterns). This also means great exposure to the furry community at large... since I'm the most prolific furry skinner on IMVU (my prodev preferred placement in the catalog doesn't hurt either), this means thousands of furries will see your mesh in my catalog, many will try it on and buy it, and even more will also derive from it themselves as it sparks their imagination!
So, if you mesh furry items, leave me a message! Link me to your creation, and I'll probably derive from it, and derive from it several times! If you don't currently mesh furry items, then ask me what I need! There are certain fursonas that can't be completed without a certain shaped ear, or a specific tail. You might think your mesh will only be good for that fursona, but give me time, I'll use it again, and use it creatively! Help me expand the furry universe here on IMVU by offering these furries more variety and more options.
The furry revolution starts with you!
A lot of my tails and ears are animated and trigger worded, but I never put this information in my product descriptions because, frankly, I never use them. When tails and ears share some of the same trigger words, the last item you put on your avatar will be the one to react to the trigger, they never animate at the same time.
So, due to popular demand, here's a list of the different types of ears and tails I offer, and the trigger words for each. These trigger words will also work for all other derivisions by other developers, since they were derived from the same mesh as mine were. If the part you are looking for is not listed here, it does not have trigger words and is probably not animated.
